As the evening drew on Angie started getting restless.

“guys I think it’s time we left you in peace” Shane said

“baby girl looks like she needs to get some sleep”

“were going really” Alice said

“yeah Al we are and if you hurry up I might even buy you a drink at The Planet”

“In that case what are we waiting for come on” Al said as she stood up.

Kit was already in the kitchen laughing

“come on you two, I’ll take you there as that is where I’m heading anyway, besides neither of you should be driving and we came in my car anyway”

“Thanks Kit” Shane said as she stood beside her.

Alice joined them “Yeah thanks Kit”

Bette still holding Angie closely followed by Tina also joined them.

“Thanks for everything guys we appreciate it” Tina said

“T don’t worry, it was our pleasure we love you all like family and this at least in my mind is what families do for one another” Shane said.

Tina walked over to her and gave her a hug then she moved onto Alice and Kit.  They then one by one kissed Angie and Bette.

As they were walking out the door Alice stopped looked at both Bette and Tina with a straight face she said

“don’t do anything I wouldn’t do”

“that’s not alot is it Al” Bette said

“exactly” Alice said with a wink and a laugh she then walked out the door

Both Bette and Tina burst out laughing as they were closing the door.  After they finally had managed to regain there composure Tina turned to Bette and said

“I’ll just get the empty bottles and then we’ll get boo ready for bed together ok baby”

“T come here first please” Bette asked

Tina walked over to Bette getting closer knowing what she had in mind.  Bette lent forward and kissed her softly.  Tina looked at Bette then smiled as she walked outside.

As she was collecting the empty bottles she glanced over to the sun lounger where the dove had been for the last couple of hours she couldn’t help but feel disappointed that it wasn’t their, she then thought back to what Alice had said about coincidence and fate, she wondered what the dove meant and why it had decided to show itself to them today of all days.
