The M Word Chapter 14 Midnight Migration

The taxi driver is getting out of the cab. The cab just pulled into the Drive way at Bette/Maria/Tinas house.

A tall guy gets out and tips the driver generously.

Sir should I wait? The taxi driver asks.
No its ok.if no one is home I have a key. The man said.

The driver helps carry all the bags to the door and then he leaves.
Bryan unlocks the doorand yells Is anyone home?
There is no answer.He brings his stuff in and takes it up to Marias room.
Then he takes a long shower, makes himself something to eat, and goes to bed in Marias room.

Back at the Planet in West Hollywood.

So what are you going to do since the kids are away this weekend? Kit asks.
I know I am going to catch up on some sleep Maria says as she notices Nikki the model coming into the Planet. Maria sits up.

Maria! Bette fusses as she elbows Maria.
What? I cant look? Maria says in a snappy tone.
You know Bryan loves you a lot and I know you love him. Bette adds.
I do love him but I am not going to sit home and wait for my heart to get broken.Maria adds as she gets up and walks over to talk to her friend.

Bette leave her alone. Tina says as she rubs Bettes back.
Did I tell you guys that I got a job at the new Studio in Burbank? Shane added.
I get to do the hair and make-up.
Shane that is awesome.I am very happy for you. Tina added with a smile.
ThanksI thought for sure I would never work again in this field after the last drama. Shane stated.

Hey are you guys up to going to the concert tonight ? Tina asked.
I think its going to be a really good show. Bette added.
Do we need tickets? Alice asked.
Not if you are traveling with me. Shane said sarcastically.

Yes and they are sold outbut Guess who is working the concert? Me! Shane added.
