THE L WING – Chapter 145
Narration of First Lady Tina Kennard Porter
Its 4:30am and I waking up with a raging thirst – well drinking two bottles of vintage champagne in bed with Bette before fucking each other senseless does kind of leave some consequences. I get up go into the kitchen and get two bottles of water from the fridge and return to bed. Bette is awake as well
“Sorry honey – did I wake you ?”
“No – I was debating how long I could stay warm and comfortable before the pressure on my bladder got too much “
“And the result of your experiment ?”
“I need the toilet — would one of those bottles of water be for your wife ? “
“Yes “
Bette gets out of bed an places a soft kiss on my brow
“Thank you “
She goes into the bathroom and I get back into bed and take a long drink of the water. When she comes back I admire her body in the semi darkness – she is so gorgeous.
“Have you always had those wonderful abs ? “
“No “ she gets into bed and I hand her the water. She takes a long drink and rolls onto her side looking at me “ These are the result of a lot of work as you know “
“Yes the 100 sit ups a day “
“And the running and the weights and the gym and the fantastic sex I get with my wife “
“Oh that – do you remember when you started that you were afraid of not being able to keep up with me ? “ I take her hair and start playing with it.
Bette laughs “ It had been a long time and you are younger than me “
“I think the fact that it had been so long was why we did spend so many nights just doing it again and again “
“So what’s our excuse now ? “
“We still have the love in our eyes and the passion in our hearts for the other person. That will never die Bette – I love you too much and I know that you love me as well “

Ally I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…you’re writing is sooo good. I love how your story twists and turns through all of their lives. You are totally amazing. Wow! I thought Lucy and Jodie were stupid when they showed up at Shane’s party like that, but now all I can say is HOW STUPID ARE THEY???? If this photograph hits the papers, I don’t see how Bette will have any choice but to fire both of them. Wow! It’s a tough way to learn Rule #1…If you work for POTUS, don’t do anything that is illegal – especially in public! Good rule! Of course they could always say that Jodie/Lucy rolls her own cigarettes!! LOL!! How can Lucy tell Tina that she ‘fell in love” with Jodie? She also says “Jodie and I love each other – except that we both know that this is just a fling”??? Since when does “a fling” constitute love? OK I need more Ally!! Please please please!!!
Well, fuck, as long as they were having one they could’ve passed it around! Damn it, Jodie, don’t bogart that joint! But then, it’s been a very long time since I did anything so indiscreet in public, nor did the press give crap who I was so there were no cameras on me. This does at least give Bette a way to remove Jodie (and Lucy if she wishes) from the staff and the scene.

WHAT THE FUCK!!!!… Okay, I know that Tina loves her sister dearly, but I’m sorry, this is plain stupidity! I really think that Tina should be the one to tell Bette “Honey, will you sack my not so grown-up sister and her jackass lover now, or will you let Shane handle it so that we can take off for the weekend?”… Please more! This was a super super super chapter – starting with the make up sex and ending with the stoopid twins. You really keep a readers attention. I am in awe, thanks for writing I just am so grateful for your story telling abilities and your taking these two great characters to new places and new heights. I love you Ally for your creativity and your sense of fun.

In TLW, Bette and Jodi and Tom were lucky that they didn’t get caught toking up but at least it was the POTUS’s family and staff. Stupidity reigns!

Sometine when you have someone inportant in your family You think you can get by with a lot. Not caring how it refect back on the family. Got arrested way back in the sixties for kissing my girlfriend in public and also for smoking pot, didn’t know that in The States 40 years later this still would be an issue. Hope not, anyhow great chapter as always Ally.
