    the L saga: Episode Twenty-Six

“Thanks Alice,” Alice walked back into the living room.

“I’m just telling the truth.” Alice took a seat next to Helena. “Are you going to tell Ryan?”

    “I did tell Ryan.”

    “How did she take it?”

“She didn’t take it so well, but we really couldn’t talk about it because her ex was there.”

“Hold up—her ex was at her house?”

“Yeah—she told me that her ex found her, and she didn’t know that she was going to be there. I felt like something was going on with them because she acted like she didn’t want me there for Christ sake.” Helena sighed heavily. “I might give us a break to see where we are heading.”

“Well I wish you the best of luck—,” Helena looked up at Alice.

“Thanks Al,” Helena smiled, and Alice smiled back. They began to stare into each other eyes, and Alice looked away.

“I—uh,” Alice cleared her throat. “I’m going to check on Dana to see how she’s doing.”

“All right, well—I’m gonna go.” They both got off the couch.

“Okay, you know you’re way out.” Alice laughed nervously and walked towards the bedroom. Helena sighed and walked towards the front door.

Jenny and Diem were sitting on the bench as Austin played at the park. Diem reached over and grabbed Jenny’s hand.

    “Are you okay with this?”

Jenny nodded. “Yeah,” she smiled at Diem and looked over at the playground. “I remember being that young and playing on the swings or the monkey bars. I loved it at the park.”

“Austin loves it at the park. He loves to get dirty and goof around. He’s my boy all right. I was just the same—I was a tomboy when I was little. I mean—coming from a family of four boys and one girl, I guess I followed my big brothers around. We were very close, but we got separated when our parents split up. It wasn’t fun anymore when we didn’t get to see each other.”

“I’m sorry to hear that. Did you guys ever get to see each other again?”

    1. ok you have these women moving on to other women like it’s a sport. When are they going to calm down? Poor Helena, oh well I guess Alice with make her feel better until someone else come along for either one! (LOL)

    2. Well ACB, More twists and turns in this lastest chapter. Good to see that Shane and Carmen are trying to ber there for one another. Alice and Dana are sweet together particularly when Alice is trying to look after Dana. Helena and Ryan are at least working things through and trying to be there for each other. And it is good to have Bette and Tina talking through their differences instead of shouting them. Finally Jenny seems to be there for Deim. More please of this delightful and twisted tale. Fantastic fiction. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.

    3. It like they go shoping for a different woman. Got to get they stablize and let them be me and you and you and you.etc Like changing sock everyday. But I love the story Alice is crazy. Poor Helena can’t seems to find happiness. Maybe you can find the right person for her. a true and faithful one. thanks
