“We’re waiting for Shane and Carmen.” Alice, Dana, Tina, Helena, Sonja, Diem, Jenny and Papi were waiting for the two ladies.

“It’s after nine—we’re going to be late and the bus isn’t going to wait for us forever,” Dana groaned.

“We’ll be fine Dane—just relax.” Alice grabbed Dana’s hand and kissed it.

Jenny smiled. “Here they come,” Shane and Carmen came walking towards the group with their bags.

“Sorry guys—I had to get Shay up and ready to stay with Kit for a few days.”

“It’s about time,” Alice nudged Dana.

“Well I’m glad that you guys made it, and now we can go.” She looked at Dana. “Babe—what’s wrong?”

“Nothing lets go.” The girls grabbed their bags and piled everything into the airport van.

            Bette cleaned up her house and raked her fingers through her hair. She took a deep breath and walked towards her bathroom. She started the shower and began to peel off her clothes. She stepped under the nice warm water and let it hit her body. She sighed as she ran her head under the running water. She rubbed her neck and lifted her head. She grabbed her towel and began to wash up. She rinsed off and got out of the shower. She grabbed a towel and wrapped it around herself. She walked into her bedroom and dropped the towel. She grabbed the bottle and poured lotion in her hands. She rubbed the lotion all over her body and slipped into her bra and underwear. She looked up when she heard a knock on the door. She grabbed her robe and put it on. She walked to her front door and opened the door.

“I thought you were stopping by later.”

“I was, but I was in the neighborhood.”

Bette smiled. “You were in the neighborhood.”

Devon smiled. “Yeah,” she walked into the house and kissed Bette softly. “Hey.”

“Hi—,” Bette caressed her cheek and closed the door.

“Why did you and Bette split up?” Alice looked over at Tina. Tina sighed as they continued their drive to the dock to aboard the cruise.
