“I meant every word I said.” Alice grinned and kissed Dana once more. Shane took a drink of her champagne and stood up.

“Who’s ready to go party?” Alice turned around, and Dana wrapped her arms around her.

“I’m down.” Dana kissed Alice’s cheek.

“We’ll go.” Jenny nodded.

“I’ll go.” Helena said.

Shane looked at Sonja and Papi. “What about you two?”

“Yeah.” Sonja nodded and smiled.

 Papi nodded. “I’m with that.”

“Tina—that just leaves you.” Alice looked at her friend. “You wanna party.”

“Sure—I’ll tag along just for the fun.”

Shane smiled. “All right ladies—let’s go!”

                Bette and Kit were in the kitchen cleaning while Shay was on the couch sleeping. Bette rinsed the plates off and placed them in the sink. Kit cleaned off the counters, and Bette sighed. Bette leaned against the sink and crossed her arms.

“Why is that I can never have a normal relationship?”

Kit continued to clean. “Because you always think that you’re right and everything must be right. AND when someone tries to tell you that you’re wrong or has a second opinion you jump all over that person. SO—do you see what’s wrong with that picture?”

“Thanks Kit—,” Bette rolled her eyes.

Kit stopped what she was doing. “Hey—you asked a question, and I answered it. You have a great job, you had a great woman, and you have loving friends that will be there for you, but you seem to not appreciate all of that.”

“I do appreciate all of those things.”

“If you did—then you would be on that cruise with Tina and not be here in this house shacked up with someone else.”

“I wanted to work on our relationship Kit, but everything was going downhill.”

“It’s because you two weren’t communicating. You weren’t seeing eye to eye with her. You were like her leader, and she was your follower. She got fed up with it.”

“Well—she decided to go get artificial inseminated without my say-so.”

Kit sighed. “I disagree on that with Tina—but we’re going to push that out of the situation right now. Tina didn’t even know that you were cheating on her, and I think you should tell her that.”
