    Author Notes:

    Tina and Bette talk, Shane wants to know who’s Carmen’s friend. Jenny and Sloane stay for breakfast. The ladies talk about Tina and Bette. Alice wants to know if Dana is ready.

    “Are you ladies almost done in here?” Jenny’s mother asked.

    “Yeah,” she nodded.

    “So is there an actual reason why you came back to Skokie?” Jenny rolled her eyes as Warren walked into the kitchen.

    “Warren—I didn’t come here to fight with you. I came here because I wanted to see my mother and bond with her—not you—her.”

    “C’mon you two—lets not fight.” Jenny’s mother grabbed Warren’s hand.

    “Yeah—let’s just have a nice day.” Jenny looked at Sloane.

    “Well I won’t say another word. I’ll just keep my distance.” Warren walked away from Jenny’s mother. Jenny’s mother sighed and rubbed her hands together. Jenny walked away from Sloane and walked over to her mother.

    “Are you okay?”

    “Yeah I’m fine. I just want you two to talk to each other.”

    Jenny shook her head. “Mom that will never happen. He doesn’t like me, and I’m okay with that. I don’t need to say a word to him.”

    “I just want my family to be happy.” Jenny’s mother walked away from her. Sloane walked up behind Jenny and wrapped her arm around her waist. Jenny looked up at Sloane and smiled softly.

                    Tina and Bette smiled at each other as they walked the beach. Bette kicked the sand with her feet, and Tina took a bite out of her ice cream.

    “I can’t remember the last time we actually walked the beach.” Bette looked out at the ocean.

    “It was when you proposed, and then it rained.” Tina smirked as Bette chuckled. “But it was still romantic.”

    “Yeah it still was,” Bette looked at Tina. “So where’s does this leave us?”

    Tina took another bite out of her ice cream. “I really want us to take things slow this time. I don’t want to rush into anything. I just want us to start out as we did when we first met.”

    “We started off hot and heavy when we got together.”

    “Okay—well we’ll have to start slow.” Bette smiled, and Tina finished her ice cream. “So what about you and Angelina?”

    “Angelina and I are over, I’m going to see her later and talk to her.” Tina shook her head. “I still don’t even know who the woman is, and I jumped into a relationship with her. It was ridiculous.”
