The highest heights, a birthdaypresent TiBette one-off
The highest heights…
Porter! Yo! Porter!
Reluctantly Bette let go of the hand she had just grabbed… The hand of the girl who had been her best friend since the very first day of college, when they had become roommates. The hand she had grabbed to guide the beautifull blonde young woman through the crowd that always seemed to accompany a funfair…
Tina Kennard sighed, as she felt the brunettes slender fingers slip through hers. Unaware of the strong feelings Bette had had for her since the first time they had laid eyes on eachother, she loved her best friend with a fierce but hidden desire. With her compassionate loving acts and sweet hazel eyes she had rapidly conquered Bette’s heart… A feeling however, that was also one of Bette’s most hidden secrets, and the only one she had for the blonde with whom she had just broken contact to greet her other friends.
Dana and Shane quickly followed Alice, whose voice had just called out Bette’s last name.
Alice Piezecki was a funny shorthaired blonde, who had the ambition to once become a journalist. She allready was gifted with the wit and the sharpness, and the short stories and many atricles she had written for the college paper had been receved with much enthousiasm.
Dana Fairbanks, an athletic brunette who would do nothing rather then make tennis her job, was pushed forward and so the first to reach Tina, whom she cordially embraced. Allthough the southern blonde had been the last to join the little group of friend, who had known eachother since highschool, she had been taken in with love… Alice had once said it was the fact that she had always been a loved child that made Tina so lovable, and silently Bette had agreed to some point.
There was something about the way she walked, something about every gesture, something about the way she looked into your eyes when she spoke… Tina Kennard had an aura of – what was the right word?- charm, sweetness, compassion around her. She was open in ways Bette couldn’t even dream about.
As Bette herself was hugged by Alice, Shane just smiled knowingly at her four friends. Shane, who was often affectionally called ‘The Yoda’ because of her amazing insight in people and their relationships, was a boyish looking darkhaired girl, who, with her talent to listen and care, had seduced many women.
