The heart wants what it wants. Chapter 2

Tina: “Chirst, what are you doing?” she said jumping out of the way.

George: “Go sit on the couch” she yelled from her bedroom.

She ran over to her nightstand and found a joint lying there, she snatched it up and ran back to the living room.

George: “Lookie what I got” she said walking up to Tina with her hand extended.

Tina looked up and saw the joint. It had been so long since she smoked dope. She thought about not doing it then quickly snapped out of it. She smiled and took the joint from George. George ran into the kitchen and grabbed a lighter and threw it to Tina as she went to the bathroom to grab a towel. She walked over to the front door and blocked the bottom of the door with the towel.

George: “A little trick I picked up in the dorms.”

    Tina: “Good one”

They leaned back and began to smoke. They sat in silence enjoying old memories of doing this when they were teenagers. Halfway through Tina began to feel it, she was starting to feel laugher building.

Tina: “Is it me or does this stuff smell like flowers?”

George: “It’s the opium” she replied slowly. Her eyelids were now starting to feel droopy.

Tina: “Opium? There is opium in this?” she was starting to get paranoid.

George: “Oh my god chill out. It’s not a crazy drug girl. Jen just rolls it out and rolls it into her joints, it’s just a better high.”

Tina: “Your rambling…im stoned” she said with a wide grin.

George didn’t reply, she just staired at the wall and giggled.

Tina was feeling extreemly relaxed and happy. She let her mind wonder back to Bette and the comment she made about Tina.

Tina: “So are you happy out here?”

George: “Yeah, really happy. My apartments not bad, my job is pretty awesome, my love life couldn’t be better and I found some friends who are actually good people. I hated it when I got here, I though everything was going to be great as soon as I arrived. I hated my roomate, my classes sucked. Then I got used to everything then I met Jen and graduated then found a job.”
