“Hey girl what is wrong?” 

            “Dana is pulling a Hitler on me; I gotta get my ***** out of there.”  Shane said darkly.

            “Hey I have room come and stay with me for a while, how about that?  I’m lonely I haven’t lived alone in a long time, come on Shane, what do you say?”  Shane looked at her, and nodded to Tina.

            “I’m paying my own way, no free rides.”  Tina put her hand up in surrender.

            “***** yes, can you cook?”  Shane nodded yes and laughed.  They walked back into the Planet together.

            “Thank you.”  They sat at the table and Dana began to banter, apologizing profusely for her behavior.  Shane waved it off and Tina intervened.

            “I have a big enough place, and she can come live with me for a while, and I need the company.” 

            “What the ***** is going on?”  Alice asked standing behind Tina and Shane, her arms crossed; tapping her foot.  Marina smiled and filled the lanky blonde in on the current event.

            “Shane is moving in with Tina, isn’t that sweet?  How are you Alice?”  Alice grabbed Shane and pulled her away from the table, her jaw set in what Shane thought was anger.

            “Shane what’s the deal?  You know what sort of fragile state she’s in right now.  Don’t go messing things up, she and Bette will work things out.”  Shane made a face, scratching her head and answering softly.

            “She’s my friend Al, and I’m the biggest Bette and Tina fan there is, so cool it.  What are you worried about?”  Alice stood and thought for a long moment, seeing Tina and Jenny rapt in conversation, laughing about something or another.

            “Shane I don’t want you to take this the wrong way, ok?”  Alice asked, treading ground very carefully.  Shane crossed her arms, knowing what was coming.  “I don’t want Tina getting hurt, promise me that you won’t?”  Shane snorted, rubbing her eyes, thinking that they didn’t really know her.

            “I think Tina is a big girl.  Why don’t you concentrate on Dana huh?  I will not put the moves on Tina, ***** Alice.”  Shane sat back down at the table, biting her tongue.
