The Gathering 01.37 – How Do We Deal? Pt 1 – Ordinary Day

                “Where does Shane
    think she is going?”  Sam

said pushing her gently back into the bed.

“She is going to see Dana,
as much as we love to annoy the ***** out of each other she’s my friend…”

                “Right now she has her
family; you need to rest for a few minutes.”
    Shane slapped her hand
away, needing to see her friends right now.
That circle of comfort that had been there for the last few years of her
miserable life had been fractured.  Sam
gritted her teeth and rang the call bell.

                “What are you going to
    do, sedate me?”
    Shane
said in a deep angry voice.

                “Look Kennedy…”  Sam said
trying to get Shane to listen.

                “Don’t ***** call me
    that…”
    Shane
grunted pulling the robe around her, she didn’t need half of the hospital
looking at her bare ***** who made these
    things anyway?
    Hugh Hefner?

                “Would you stop…?”  Sam
started to say, but Shane was standing, hovering
    over her.

                “I watched a few of
those shows since we’ve been together you know.
    Kennedy told Willow
she loved her and visa versa it’s a lot more than I can say for you.”  Shane shot
back, regretting the words the instant the left her lips.  The nurse came in and Sam
asked her for a wheelchair.  She nodded
and went off to find one.

                “The nurse will take
    you down to see them.”
    Sam
said curtly her doctor facade back now she walked out the door and away from Shane.

                “She’s right you
    know.”  Marty said hot on
    Sam‘s
heels as she left Shane‘s room.  He’d been waiting to see how his friend
reacted to Shane being alive and this hadn’t
    been how he’d imagined it.

“***** you.  I have enough to deal with that I don’t need
    some ***** drama…”  Marty grabbed
    Sam‘s
    shoulder and spun her around.

                “It’s not drama.”  Sam
pursed her lips and stared at him, her eyes cold.  “It’s life Sam.”  Sam pushed his
hand off of her shoulder and walked away.

                Jayden sat in Lara‘s
room, her family was all around her, mom, dad, and two brothers.  Caleb and Cameron.  They knew who Jayden was since Lara
had told them about her new roommate, or rather, flat mate as she’d laughingly
    told them.

    1. Phew I was just thinking these women are like family it would kill them if one of them died. Thank God its the Wolffe!!!(I know this sounds bad, but you know what I mean)

    2. My god J, you got me all worked up just to find out fucking francesca is the dead one. I got give it to you girl, you’ve got major dramatatic talents. I really love that, but I’m really happy that you let my beloved Shane live. And now it’s up to Sam to tell her that one “big” word. I hope the rest of the gang is going to be ok. I feel really sorry for Dana, must be horrific as an athlete to have this kind of injury.

    3. Jenny had me going. Thought you killed her off. Don’t know if the funeral was Sam’s first time telling Shane that she loved her but enjoyed how she just said it so casually as if those words came out her mouth everyday – priceless.
