    After Party – Marina has a proposal to Lara – Jenny writes – Bette & Tina have breakfast – Dana and Alice have each other for breakfast – A wrench in the wedding plans – Sam and Shane in bed with peanutbutter – jadedrogue strikes again

    The Gathering 01.25 – Long Morning After

     

                Marina was cleaning up the remnants of the party, having slept a few hours and not being able to stay in bed while her bar was in a chaotic mess.  It was like her baby, it needed tending too.  She had some club music playing softly in the background; she pushed the broom and swung her hips to the tempting beat.  Marina closed her eyes to the rhythm a small smile gracing her full lips as she gave in for a moment to the music letting it sway her.

               

                “Shake that *****.”  Lara said with a laugh picking up some dishes on one of the far tables.  Marina jumped and let out a small yelp of surprise.  Putting her long elegant hand over her mouth her eyes wide.

     

                “What are you doing here this morning?”  Lara chuckled, wearing an old pair of jeans and a black tank top.  She had her hair loose and she looked stunning in the early morning light.

     

                “I’m the clean up crew, Kit asked me to do this today.  I didn’t know you’d be here.  She told me the Planet was closed until noon on Sundays.”  Marina grinned pushing the broom and looking over at Lara.  She could see why Dana had been so attracted to the young chef.  A thought struck Marina suddenly, filling her mind with endless possibilities.

     

                “You wouldn’t happen to want to be starting up your own business?  Perhaps delve into a new upstart club with some cuisine?”  Lara stopped what she was doing, regarding Marina with a serious look.  Her hazel eyes studying Marina for a long moment that seemed to stretch out forever.  She put her hands on her hips.

     

                “No joke?”  Marina shook her head; it was brilliant, beyond brilliant.

     

                “I never joke about money; business or *****.”  Lara grabbed two chairs off a nearby table and sat down. 

     

                “Come over here and pitch me why I should come and work with you.”  Marina leaned the broom against the bar and walked over to Lara and wowed her with her business savvy and a little ***** charm.

    1. ooooh, very very interesting. Shane and Sam are going to have an open relationship, I do wonder if that will work, well maybe how long will with it work. I do like the idea LOL. Ivan should just ask Kit if she’s been drinking again. They are about to get married, so trust should be a basis. Dana is also in a battle it seems. Wonder how that will play out.

    2. Good portrait of Tina with a little back bone. She’s a little rough, isn’t she? Where did all the moxie come from, T? Why is Lara everywhere touching everybody? Oh and is anybody sure of anything?

    3. I’m a ONE person woman, I was not taugh to share. Dana needs to do some deep soul serching about Alice Lara is after someone or something. Kit is going to mess up big time. because of her uncertainty. Tina remind me of a Sargent in the service sometime. thanks bvh

    4. I wonder if Shane can handle an open relationship? Sam on the otherhand has done thios before, but being that Sam is the first person that Shane has fallen for, should Shane go that route? She’ll more than likely be pissed that Sam is off w/ someoneone else. Jelousy may rear its ugly head big time. Like this self assured Tina who stands up as Bette’s equal.
