“Excuse me?” Bette was confused.

“Mommy, the other day when we were at your office I was looking at the view of the female body. I remember the word, but I couldn’t pronounce it. I knew it started with an N and ended with an S. But, I couldn’t pronounce it.”

“You smarty pants. So, wait, you’re trying to tell me that you already knew about this stuff already?”

“Uh-huh. I just wanted to see would you tell me the same thing that mommy did.”

“Was I close?”

“Uh-huh, like a bulls eye. Gotta go, breakfast is ready.” Angelica took of running out the room and down the hall. Bette hurried up and finished lotioning and changing. She couldn’t believe how smart she was. Wow! She had just been played. Bette chuckled to herself and inhaled deep. Life with Angie will be one bumpy ride.

“Mommy.”

“Yes baby?”

“So, does that mean that auntie Kit, Dana, Shane, Carmen, Jenny, Alice, Helena, and Max have nipples too?”

“Yup, and please don’t go around screaming nipples okay. This conversation stays between us….okay?”

“You got it mom.” Angelica smiled and dipped her french toast sticks in the maple syrup. Bette entered the kitchen smelling and looking delightful.

“Wow babe, you look wonderful.” Tina smiled. She walked over and approached her wife. Angelica turned to watch them both kiss one another. She smiled and turned back around.

“Thanks, although I feel like crap.”

“Hey, it’s not that bad. Just go and help Kit, and I’ll take the baby to the park.” Tina winked at her giving her the signal.

“Oh…,” Bette replied, with a wide smiled and a nod of her head, “I’ll get right on it. What time should we be expecting you?”

“About one. We should be back by then.”

“Okay…”

“Oh mommy, it’s too bad you won’t be joining us at the park.”

“It’s okay sweetie. I’ll be here when you get back.”

“Okay, bye mommy.” Bette walks over and kisses Angie on the forhead.

“Bye sweetie.” Bette slips her shades on and heades out the front door.

Later…

(Angelica and Tina are walking down the street towards the house. They just came from the park)

“Mommy.”

“Yes baby?”

“Do you really desire to be with momma B?”

“Yes, of course. What would make you ask such a bizarre question?”

“I don’t know. I guess, because you were with Henry for sometime, and then you dumped him to be with mommy, and then you ran off, before showing back up at the gallery in New York.”

“Baby, what mommy did to momma B was unexceptable…period. I know I might of caused a bit of confusion by disapperaing and then appearing in front of you again, but I made a mistake Angie. I was confused and lost-that’s why I left, but I had plans of returning soon.”

“How soon?”

“The night when we had the fight. I tried calling but momma B never answered.”

“So, you could of left a message and called auntie Kit. What was the real reason mommy? Why didn’t you call somebody?”

“I guess, because, I needed sometime to think. So much had happened, and I thought that you would of been better off with your mother. I wouldn’t dare just stick you somewhere and take off without knowing whether or not you would be cared for properly.”

“Hmm. Well, I just hope you’re not playing games with mommy’s heart. You know she does love you…right?”

“I do…”

“And, you know she’s in love with you…right?”

“I do…”

“Okay, so, there shouldn’t be a reason why you two should have any problems…right?”

“Correct…”

“Okay…” Angelica and Tina approach the porch steps. Angelica turned around and spotted all of these cars parked in front of their house. “Is today Sunday mommy?”

“No baby, today’s Saturday.” Tina stuck the key in the lock. She shook the keys rattling them, letting everyone else know that they were on their way inside.

“Oh…”. Tina opened the front door, and Angelica stepped inside.

“SURPRISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANGELICA!”
