The Darker Side of Tina Chapter 7
“Bette!” Tina screamed, pounding on the door, “Bette!” Tina was drenched from head to toe. Her dress stuck to ever curve of her body and her hair dripped water down her back. She shivered, but barely noticed how cold she was, “Bette!” She ran around rounding on windows, “Please, Bette, please!”
Tina ran back to the front door in time to see Bette rushing down the hallway.
“Tina?” Bette said, running outside and grabbing her by the shoulder, “Tina, what’s wrong? Are you okay? You’re drenched, you must be freezing. Come inside I’ll”
“Bette, shut up and listen to me.” Tina looked Bette in the eyes and continued, “I love you, Bette, I love you so much. You hurt me more then I’ve ever been hurt but I realize you couldn’t have hurt me that much unless I truly loved you. You’re my world and I can’t imagine myself without you. I love you, Bette, I love you!”
Bette stared at Tina with a look of awe, amazement, and pure, deep love. Tears filled her eyes and fell down her cheeks, mingling with the cold rain but leaving a warm feeling behind on her skin. She put her hands on Tina’s face and looked into her eyes, “I love you, T. I always have and I always will. Don’t forget it.” and pressed her sweet lips onto Tina’s. Tina’s tears left warm streams on Bette’s hands as they kissed and embraced.
Tina broke away and looked at Bette, “I want you to know Bette that I didn’t cheat on you with that girl. I almost did because I wanted to hurt you; I wanted to hurt you so much. But when it came down to it, I couldn’t.” Bette’s eyes only seemed sad for a moment, but then she realized that Tina wasn’t trying to rub her nose in it, she just truly wanted her to know.
Tina shivered in Bette’s arms and Bette hugged her tighter, “Lets get you home and changed.”
The two returned to Tina’s car. Bette helped Tina into the passenger seat and then climbed in on the driver’s side. Tina laid her head on Bette’s lap as she drove and Bette stroked Tina’s dripping hair. With the heater on high, they drove off into the night and, of course, lived happily ever after as they were always meant to.
