The Canvas of our Life….Ch 10

“T!!!! Hey babe I’m sooo glad you’re here! Come over here and give you’re good old dad a kiss.!”

“Hi Dad, how are you?” Tina said leaning in and kissing him on the cheek unable to keep a tear from slipping from her eye and landing on his face.

“Oh not you too! I’m gonna be fine T, you know me, I’m a fighter. Nothing can get me down.”

Tina knew her father was trying to be strong for her. She realized that she needed to do the same for him and quickly dried her eyes.

“You sure are Dad. I am just so happy to see you. I hoped it would be somewhere other than here but if this is what I get.I suppose I’ll take ya! Is there anything you want or need? I’m going to be here for a few days and I have nothing to do but spend time with you!”

“Aww T, you don’t have to stay here. I’m telling you I’m going to be fine! I don’t want you travelling up here all alone back and forth just for me.”

“Well, I’m not. Eric drove me this morning. He’s staying at Mom’s house.”

“I thought you and wonder boy were uhon the brink if you know what I mean.”

“I don’t know what’s going on with us Dad. But none of that matters right now. I’m here to see you. I’ll deal with Eric later. Now, do you want me to go get you something to read?”

“No T that’s nice of you, but I think I’m going to take a little nap. I.(Yawn) I’m getting sooo tired.”

“OkI’ll be here if you need anything.” Tina sat in the chair next to his bed and reached up for his hand holding it until he drifted off to sleep. Dr. Lanerd came back around and quietly motioned for Tina to come out of the room.

“TinaI wanted to make sure you had all of your questions answered. You’ve seen him now and spoken to him. Is there anything else you want to ask?”

“Well, how long until you have some more information regarding what stage he is in? Is that what will determine whether you move him or not?

    1. So sad, I feel bad for Tina her dad is dieying and no one is there to confort her. What does she see in Eric any way. Please get Bette out there to help Tina threw this. Thanks a bunch for the post and will be waiting for more.

    2. This is a serious and difficult situation you’ve created. Eric is such a jerk. Tina needs support and hopefully Bette will be there. I like the way you’re developing the characters. Please don’t let this be a story where they’re always at the hospital and jumping from one serious crisis to the next.

    3. This is sad, Tina need to call Bette or Bette call or come to Tina and help her. Eric such a stupid ass and hope he not gonna bother now. Ok post soon please, thanks!

    4. TBC??? do you really have to ask? Please continue with the story> and I really think that Tina should call Bette. Tina holds all the cards right now, but please let Bette be forgiving and understanding. keep writing. I’ll be reading.
