The Black Flag Ch. 26 & 27
Chapter 26
“I’m done.” Tasha said putting the bottle of rum down.
“Bullshit, Tasha. We’re just getting started.”
“I can’t feel my teeth.”
“Yeah, it’s good stuff,” Alice said picking up the rum bottle and downing a few gulps before forcing it back into Tasha’s hands, clumsily. The former slave looked at the bottle in her hand for a moment with an uneasy look. “Oh loosen up, if I didn’t know any better, I’d swear you had a rod up yer ass. We’re off on an adventure with pirates and cross dressers!”
Tasha cocked a brow at the blond woman and wrote off her statement as alcohol induced delusions before making a face and looking off the bulwark. “What the hell is that!?”
“Where?!” Alice yelled and immediately tried to get to her feet to get a better view but merely stumbled along the deck in a vain attempt. While Alice was busy searching the waters for what ever it was Tasha had seen, Tasha emptied the rest of the rum onto the deck behind her before placing it down in front of herself again.
“I thought I’d seen a sea serpent. Never mind, It’s probably just the rum.” Tasha stated with a smile showing Alice the empty bottle.
“I knew you had it in you!” Alice exclaimed and slapped a hand across Tasha’s back. “Let’s get more!” Alice said in excitement as she tried once again to stumble to her feet. Tasha’s smile disappeared and she rolled her eyes with an exasperated huff. Her plan having obviously backfired, but before she could object to Alice’s quest, the drunk barmaid fell over again and sprawled out on her back. “I can’t feel my teeth.”
Carmen awoke late in the afternoon, alone on the deck. The sun was high and her head hurt a slight bit from the alcohol she’d drank in the early hours that day and from the beating heat of the sun.
She took a moment to let her eyes adjust to the bright light, the blurry shapes soon sharpening and becoming clear again. Carmen groaned to herself and placed a hand on her forehead before glancing around for the pirate captain. Last she could recall, the lanky pirate had fallen asleep against her chest after taking in a large amount of alcohol, but now was no where in sight.

Yes finally an update!!! What a build up to what may be THE fight of the story… I hope the kukulcan and it’s precious cargo stay intact. Bit dissapointed that we missed out on the ‘tussel’ -it was defently needed. Ohh well they are just going to have to win this fight first. Thanks again for the update and for making me wait sooooo long for it… I guess it was all worth it in the end though…
The awesome adventures of Captain Jill. Thank you for updating this story. I love this adventure.
