I was just thinking… We look like a long and happily married couple
Tina:
I had been sure she was about to kiss me when I’d said her name like that… That intense look had been in her eyes again…
*You really are naive Tina… Why would she want to kiss you?*
She started to wash up and as I took the dishes out of her hands to dry them, our hands seemed drawn to eachother like magnets…
Neither of us had spoken a word but the silence was a peacefull one and at once I remembered something from my childhood…

Grandpa and grandma Kennard’s residence:
I’m playing on the floor in the kitchen…
Grandpa is washing the dishes after the big familydiner and Granny is drying.
They don’t speak much but I see something between them…
Something in their eyes:

They had both died several years ago… A few days after eachother… They had a deep love and understanding for eachother I had never seen in any other couple… I sighed and then I chuckled, realizing something…
I had now become my grandmother… Standing there and drying the dishes next to the one person I loved more than I loved the world
She looked at me as only she can, with one cocked eyebrow…
*How can she look so incredibly sexy?*
It was still confusing to think of a woman in those terms… But there was no other way to desrcibe it… She wasn’t just beautifull… She wasn’t just kind… It was a merging together of all the characteristics I ever searched for in a soulmate when I was a little girl, dreaming about my knight in shining armour while looking at the stars… It was the feeling of ease combined with the feeling of extreme nervousness… It were all those opposite emotions that were running through my body…
I felt like I was going crazy…

Two more chapters to go. Maybe you can miss number them and the next will be chapter 34. I guess as I have waited this long two more chapters won’t kill me right—Wrong! Can’t you make the next chapter two sentences long and then post the rest as chapter 34.
I must be in love because I am crazy as all get out. Rosy can call me what ever she wants. Bette finally said what was in her heart. Of course she was half asleep and mentally fatiqued, but she said it. Now the ball is in Tina’s court. I always liked the song “The First Time I Ever Saw Your Face”. Celine Dion just brings the tears out of my body when I hear her version of that song. These two are really connecting emotionally and that is harder to do in any relationship. Enjoying myself, thank you for this wonderful story.

Hey why is everyone moaning and groaning? So we didn’t get a kiss (on the lips anyway…the forehead can count as half a kiss). However, Tina DID hear Bette tell her she loves her. Can I get a “yee-haw!”? Okay maybe not that but a nice big WEEEEEEEEEE! Now Tina just has to realize that that love isn’t the platonic kind. I wish your Tina would come tuck me in, but not before giving me a lower back massage because this pain sucks.
