I realized then that that was true…
I would never be with Bette, she saw me as a friend and nothing else…
The feelings I had for her had nothing to do with the lack of feelings I had for Eric…
Like he had said Id never been sure of my love for him or I would have married him a long time ago.
I just could never put my finger on it, it just didnt feel right.
‘I just dont think we can take this relationship any further, Eric…’
I saw the desperation in his eyes when I softly spoke those words…
*I cant believe I just said that*
‘But we love eachother, sweetbuns… You’re my life! I love you… Dont you care about me at all?’
‘Off course I care about you, Eric, or I wouldnt have spend the last 14 years of my life with you… I just… I think youre right… I never was sure of my love for you and you… You deserve someone who is!’
‘And it took you 14 years to figure that out Tina? Jezus!’
The stunned hurt in his eyes made way for anger.
‘I know its hard to understand but I just…’
I tried to remain calm when I saw the rage in his eyes and he approached me.
‘Tell me his name Tina.’
‘What?’
‘Tell me the name of the guy!’
I was totally confused now, even more than I had allready been
‘Who do you mean Eric?’
His face was now only inches away from mine and he shouted
‘The guy you DO love, eh? Whats his name… You can at least give me that after 14 years Tina’
‘There isn’t one’
‘He doesn’t have a name?’
I saw in his eyes he tried to restrain himself and I backed away hoping he could… He scared me.
‘There is no other guy’
*Well… at least that was true*
‘Right Tina… Right…’
He took a deep breath and backed away.
‘I just dont think I ever loved you’

I was very happy when I saw that you posted and was even happier when I read the chapter until you ended like you did. You are being such a tease. Please post ASAP–can’t wait to see what happens when Tina gets to Bette’s house. Will they finally reveal their feelings for each other? Oh Bette, is right. Poor Bette having the doctor cut into an already messed up knee. Thank God for Alice. She is such as good friend and was there for Bette when she needed her. Tina having to face an angry and drug hyped Eric. Having these two stories parallel to one another. One trying to put her life back into some order after coming face to face of the wicked mother and one finally coming to terms of not loving someone that she has been with for years. If only these two knew that they were headed in the same direction. Now if only little Rosy and Steve could show up later and make a happy get together. Love the story so please post soon. And I feel the same way, an old friend (I could always use a friend).
Congrats on ur theory driving test ;) oh gosh… erm… did u just ‘commented’ on my story in ur story? hahaha I think u’re the one who has a way with words ;) Why do I have this feeling that Tina’s hand will just somehow ‘accidentally’ steer to the other side although she’s with the ‘Oh Bette’ brain?
