Bette decided not to call.
Alice and Shane knew something was wrong and they understood Bette’s worries about the “workaholic factor” when Tina missed the pizza night. They tried to offer some help, but they knew that with some issues, the brunette was inflexible, mainly when they heard Domina words:
“Why she couldn’t make it, mom?”
“Tina had to work, darling…”
“Oh… She works a lot, hn?”
“Yes, darling. She works a lot.”

The happy bouquet with pink French tulips, white oriental lilies, pink snapdragons and diamond eucalyptus arrived and Domina liked the book. After two silent days, Tina decided to call just to say hi and to sense what’s going on.
“Hi, Tina…”
“Hello Bette. I missed you, ladies, and I decided to call. Hope I am not being intrusive.
“No…No… We’re fine. The pizza night was funny. How about your meeting?
“Long …very long… Too long…”
“Oh…”
This silence is not supposed to be there. But it was and alarmed Tina.
Bette was the one to reassume the dialogue.“ I would like to thank you for the rose bouquet and the book. Domina love it. I thank you.”
“I just wanted to be with you, but it was impossible. I thought it would be nice to show you how I was sorry for that.”
Silence again.
“I see…” was all Bette could say.
“Well, I hope the invitation is still up…” Tina begged inside her voice.
“We will let you know when it happens.”
“I thank you…”
“You’re welcome, Tina… I …I gotta go now…”
“Sure…sure… See ya, Bette…Bye.”
“Oh… and Tina…”
“Yes, Bette?”
“It wasn’t roses. It was a mixed bouquet. Next time, when you “wanted-to-seem-personal” talk to your secretary first and ask for details. My tip to you. Anyway, thanked her. She chose a beautiful bouquet and a nice book… …Bye.”
“Fuck… I fuck it up…” Tina said it out loud to herself when the line went dead.

Tina missed the woman. She missed the woman and the child. She kept asking herself why she missed them so much. They see each other at the museum. Once! They talked over the phone and now the blonde couldn’t stop thinking about them.

Thanks for posting so soon. Love this story and our girls seem to be getting along very well and can’t seem to get enough of each other. Happy they will be seeing each other again for a real date. Tina loves Bette and her daughter and they will make a lovely family full of love for each other. PPS
Braz I loved this chapter,,,,,cause this time Tina took the initiative to call Bette, then got busted and found out how her life was…she didnt have one, it was all work. Then to go far out of her character and do what she did on Sunday was perfect,,,with giving Bette 2 1/2 hrs to get ready for a DATE,,,,BRILLIANT BRAZ YOU ARE!!!
Ah, this is rather wonderful, just read all three chapters. I love the way Bette will help Tee, get over the workaholic thing, coz she as alreday in the same position. I think tee is such a cutie, i think they have two and a half hours and i cant wait.. Braz, its is wicked impressive and really entertaining.. dont take too long with the updating.

Mimi is gonna win tina’s heart slowly,she is gonna slowly teach tina to relax and chill, even though tina doesn’t know that yet,lol… bette needs to have some patience.. it will take time for tina to chill but she will espeically if she really wants to be in bette’s life.:)PPS

Glad that Bette busted Tina, but even more thrilled that Tina decided it was worth it to go after Bette and Domina. I wonder what is up next for our lovely ladies.
