The art of living # 1

And when they talked about movies, Tina couldn’t contain herself. It was her area. A way to introduce herself and didn’t really matter the reason why she wanted that. It was her job and for sure she would take advantage of her profession to get closer, she didn’t quite want to admit, from the mocha woman.

The mother let the child got the floor again and they watched a little longer the artist work.

    “Excuse me…”

Tina didn’t wait for the impact, that’s why she didn’t know how to respond to the view in front of her. The woman was an art piece and far from the abstract expressionism from Pollock.

Not that she didn’t note this before. The lady in question was tall, mocha, dressed in a perfect jeans and white tank top, with eyes of an impala: big, cheerful, and peaceful. But she couldn’t capture her face completely until that moment. Neither her smile. And now she was mute in from of all that beauty.

    “Yes…”

    Silence made itself symphony.

“Excuse my manners,… lady… I… Hmmm…I…” Tina tried and she had to laugh from her own muteness and absence of manners. “…God…”

The blonde didn’t note but Elizabeth Porter was also far from calm and relaxed. She had seen the woman by her side, following them, piece by piece, smiling to the remarks of her little girl, here and there, but she never thought she would say anything. Not that she didn’t desire this proximity. The blonde was outstanding inside that red striped power suite, but she seamed just an adult having fun with the remarks of a kid.

“Yes…?” That’s all Bette could offer in return.

“Sorry…God… I know that this can sound… weird and I don’t want to be nosy, but I’ve heard some parts of your conversation and I just couldn’t contain myself.”

Bette almost couldn’t contain herself either. She watched the blonde flushed lightly and she thought if the woman could be cuter than that.

“And… And…” The flushed blonde tried.

“Ok…You’re doing great…Go ahead…” Bette gave Tina a smile, reassuring, but also making fun of her shyness.

The executive tightened her eyes and grinned the unspoken sentence “smart ass. But when she watched that supernova smile inside the brunette’s face she came back to the flushed mode. “…I ….just wanted to say that it’s great to see the education you are giving to this little girl. It’s incredible. I just wanted to tell you this…”

    1. Ok Ok, I love these Bette and Tina beginnings but this one is refreshing. Meeting in a museum but under completely different circumstances and with Mother Bette. Ok and how old is this kid who is hooking her mom up. So cute!

    2. Hi, Braz! What a different and refreshing new B&T beginning! We loved the interaction between mother and daughter. Hmm… It’s great that Mimi is playing cupid, here! This story is good, Braz. Absolutely. PPS Hugs and kisses on both your cheeks. Lucero & Marsha (Latin JC’s Salsa Aunties)
