The Adventures Of Bette Porter And Sissee Gardner Schmidt After Howie (Part 1, Chapter 11)
PART ONE: SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
Chapter 11
When I opened the door I saw Bette sitting in a bubble bath, holding the portable phone, looking at me with a provocative grin. The only light in the room came from assorted candles.
To my left was the commode and glassed in shower stall. To my right was a mirrored closet door. In front of me was an oval, Jacuzzi tub that Kit had installed about a year ago, with hydrotherapy jets. I remember her telling us about it, how soothing it was after a long day at the Planet.
The tub was enclosed with white tile and along side the back with counter space, which went deep, leading to a large frosted window. On the counter were numerous candles, of all sizes and shapes, glowing and fluttering, casting shadows on mysterious looking bottles, atomizers, bath salts and sponges.
Bette was luxuriating in a cloud of bubbles that covered her up to her bare shoulders. The air was moist and warm. There was a fragrance of lavender that was pleasing and seductive. I flipped my cell closed, as I walked toward her and slipped it in a pocket while she put her portable on the counter. I stood over her for a moment to appreciate her sensuous beauty. Those doe eyes, her fine straight nose, that lush mouth that was slightly opened with that inviting smile, her rosy cheeks and honey-brown skin. To me, she was the epitome of desire.
I reached over her and set the bottle of wine and the glasses on the back counter. She raised a dripping hand out of the water and squeezed my arm, urging me toward her. I dropped slowly to my knees to be at her level and moved closer to her. Neither one of us said anything but we both had that look, with promises of things to come. She put her hand behind my head and I put my right arm around her shoulder. She pulled me to her and we kissed with grateful familiarity, glad to finally be together. It grew however, into a long, passionate kiss, arousing both of us, rolling tongues in and out of our mouths until Bette suddenly pulled back, saying, “Let’s get you undressed.”

Sissee Sissee Sissee…I finally read your story, from start to your last posts this weekend. I was completely enthralled. You have weaved together such a wonderful story and tied your world of B & Sissee back to the show and you’ve reset it for the future. It’s been a wonderful journey and I’ve been having a fit just waiting and waiting for you to post. I’m so glad you have. Now…I have to go and read it. I hope the love between these two continues to grow and evolve. I’ve been nervous about them for some time but it seems like they are really maturing together and have done so for over 20 years. My only concern is that Sissee doesn’t cheat on Bette. I mean really…she’s the serial cheater here and I hope she maintains a fidelity to precious BP. I trust these characters in your world and in your hands and where ever you are willing to write them, I will gladly follow. I may not be able to comment on every chapter but know that you have a loyal fan who reads every word. All the best, MTS
ahhh you posted – all is right with the world now!! yet another fabulous chapter, im so pleased that they talk everything through and deal with it together…though abit of arguing never hurt, it just means you’re still growing as a couple and the making up is just that bit sweeter! as for the promoting of the story how about putting one of our comments in your summary? i think the main reason people bypass this story is because no-one knows sissee gardner and everyone knows tina kennard, i’m such a tibetter it’s not funny but this story and sissee just won me over and i’ll bet my house that if my fellow tibetters gave this a chance they’d agree!! anyway end of rant for mush!! pps

It was often disheartening to see another writer get 2000 hits and I would barely get 200. Now it is growing and I am very pleased.. Thank you very much for starting at the beginning and now making your first post. Please don’t be concerned about Sissee’s fidelity. She is with the woman she will never grow tired of her. If Jennifer Beals herself tried to seduce her, Sissee would stay loyal to Bette Porter. It was “longing” that caused her to be a serial cheater. Longing to meet another Bette Porter, man or woman. She just wanted to recapture those feelings again. And wasn’t she fortunate to actually get her Bette back. My best to you MTS. Since you may not have time to post frequently it would be lovely to hear from you now and then..
Mush1912, I’m sorry it took me so long to post this last chapter but I was out of town for a few days. As for possibly posting one of my reader’s comments in the summary of my next chapter, I just might try that. I think that is an excellent idea. I just hope it isn’t breaking any rules. Thank you so very much for the suggestions.

Like kbergin said, this is such a romantic story. I enjoy reading it as usual. Hope I don’t need to wait for long for the next chapter. It’s close to 300 post already, so Sissee the writer, you get the gist! :-)

Just wanted to see other comments and missed my comment I left this noon. Probably it did not work. Ok then once more. This was a very nice chapter and written with a lot of humour. Please don’t let us wait too long for the next post.About the promotion for your story why don’t you write one post with a short summary from the start until now and use another title for it. Perhaps some readers will be attracted to the story and experience the same as mush and me – a sleepless night.
Very romantic setting……candles, lavender, bubbles, champagne & being between Bette Porter’s legs……HEAVEN. Good tub talk now for the good stuff. Spit spot!

Jurefesa, Thanks for writing. I appreciate your encouraging words. I try to post after every 300 hits but sometimes I get busy in my real world and can’t do it. I needed a guideline and that was what I decided upon. Thank you for the promotional suggestion . What you are suggesting is a synopsis of my story so far. While I appreciate the idea, I honestly don’t have time right now to do that and I really would not want to use another name. It is what it is and what it will be, four years of writing about Bette and Sissee. A labor of love.
