    Bette finally has the triplets! Yeah! Alice gets…well…Alice just isn’t prepared to watch the delivery. The babies do finally arrive! They really do – I swear to God they are going to be born…


    Chapter 181

    “Ok Baby….not to give you a hard time or anything……” Tina paused and looked at Bette who was enduring yet another contraction.

    Bette looked at Tina…trying not to scream and said loudly, “WHAT? WHAT?”

    Tina stared at Bette and for a split second felt that perhaps it would have been better to keep her mouth closed in regards to this particular matter.

    “TINA…..WHAT?” The contraction passed and Bette looked at Tina through tears. “I’m sorry T….what?”

    “No I’m sorry…it’s not important.” Tina kissed Bette’s forehead tenderly. “You’re doing great Baby…..just great.”

    “Tina…please…tell me before the next wave hits.” Bette knew it wouldn’t be long before another contraction coursed through her body and her mind… making her scream out in pain and at Tina.

    “Ok….Baby…..why did you agree to have Alice in the delivery room for the birth of the triplets? Of all people….I know you love her but….please…..you’re going to be in enough pain. Why invite more in?”

    “T……she……oh GOD!” Bette paused and tried to remember the lamaze breathing techniques before saying quite matter of factly…”***** it! This ***** hurts! *****! I changed my mind! Tina…tell them I changed my mind.”

    “Sure Bette….I’ll tell THEM! And who is them?” As much as Tina tried, she found it hard to fight off tears as she saw the woman she loved laying there before her in excruciating pain. A tear rolled down her cheek and landed on Bette’s upper lip.

    Bette’s contraction ended and she smiled. “Trying to drown me Sweetie? Won’t work -…. but please don’t cry so much that I do drown ok?”

    “Sorry Babe…..I just hate seeing you like this…..in this pain….it’s killing me. And Alice will be here any minute and…..”

    “Alice wanted to see what delivery was like so I agreed to let her come into the delivery room. She’ll behave…she promised T.”

    “Oh yeah right…she promised….” Tina rolled her eyes. Suddenly she felt a vice grip on her hand as Bette squeezed her way through another contraction. Another tear spilled from Tina’s eye and hit Bette on the cheek.”

    “See Sweetie….I knew you were trying to drown me. I know,,,you hate to see me in pain….I know.”

    Tina looked into Bette’s eyes. “I do hate to see you in pain….I don’t like the level of pain I just experienced when you tried to break my fingers either.” Tina smiled as she waved her hand to try to easy the pain.

    22. Thank you everyone…I missed writing. I had to get Bette out of Labor – that was mean! Many things going on in my life lately….I hope to have the next chapter posted soon. Ok – so think about it – would I ever hurt any of these characters? Ok – well ignore the Alice passing out thing ok? All I want to do is portray a HUGE loving family with humor….and that’s what I hope to continue to do as they all grow up together…..I hope you are all doing well and thank you to all the writers and readers on this site – as well as the people who run the site….you are all very special!
