« Hi again Bette. Miss Kennard, I hear through Bette that you are really good at your job, welcome on board. Don’t worry about Marina she is not the first spoilt child we deal with. »

Steve entered the room.

« Captain Porter? Mrs Ferrer is here to see you. »

« Let her in Steve, thanks. »

Marina entered the romm and immediatly set her eyes on Tina.

« What is she doing here? »

« Both Peggy and I wanted her to be here. »

« Peggy? What does this have to do with Peggy? »

« Since this is my company, this has everything to do with me, Marina. »

Peggy’s voice coming through the speaker startled Marina, who sat, looking a little lost for a second.

« So Mrs Ferrer, Miss Kennard here, called me in front of you to tell me that since you were doubted her qualifications, you asked to hear the informations she gave you directly from me. So we are here, both me and Mrs Peabody to confirm what she told you. »

« Even the being denied access as a regular customer part? » Marina asked, hoping to but either tina and Bette in a bad position.

« That request came from me. Peggy agreed to it. » Bette answered.

« And why did you have such a request? Because we flirted with each other a few times? Oh no let me guess, it might be about me saying that kids, especially Leeloo shouldn’t be raised in such an environment. »

As she stopped her breath at Marina’s words, Tina clearly heard Peggy do the same.

« Mrs Ferrer. We never flirted with each other. What happened is that in your usual pathetic way you tried to seduce me and failed. » Bette answered in a calm, scary voice »And I know that you have pretended to be in love with Leeloo’s mother a long time ago. The thing is I am Leeloo’s legal guardian and, as her legal gaurdian I am doing what I think is best for her until she can decide for herself. » She took a breath.

« The reason you will be denied access to the Dubliner is because you are disrespectful to my staff. » Peggy added.

« Are you sure it has nothing to do with Jodie Lerner refusing to sell you a piece on my advise two years ago? » Marina asked angrily.

Bette turned to Tina and was scared at what she saw. The blond was white, her jaw and fists clenched.

« Marina. What you do with Jodie Lerner is none of my buisness. Even though I definitely didn’t approve the two of you prading in your little powerful circles when she had a partner waiting for her at home. You cheating on Fabio with his knowledge was obne thing, fucking over another woman’s life is another. »Peggy was starting to getr really angry. «  Bette could you please contact the Greek Authorities and have everything set up for Mrs Ferrer’s leaving before sunset. Thank you. »

With that Peggy hunged up. Marina stood up and Bette called Security to escort her back to her cabin.

« Mark, Julian, would you please take care of Mrs Ferrer? Make sure she doesn’t leave her room. »

The pair of six feet tall men positionned themselves on each side of Marina.

« Mrs Ferrer. Please follow us. »

Marina obliged without answering and shot a dead look at Bette and Tina.

Once alone, Bette rushed to Tina’s side that hadn’t move since Marin’a outburst. She took the blond in her arms, trying to have her let go of everything she was keeping for herself.

« I’m sorry Tina. I’m so sorry. I had no idea Peggy knew about them. We don’t hang out with the same people. I’m so sorry… »

« We were having financial problems. I had to sell most of my mother’s gems and she refused to sell a piece… »

« It’s okay, Tina, everything’s gonna be okay… » She continued to caress the blond hair when she suddenly felt Tina break down in tears.

« I’ve been fooled one. I won’t be fooled twice. Promise me. Promise me you’ll be honnest. »

« Shhh, it’s okay, I promise. I’ll do my best to take care of you. I’ll tell you everything you want to know… I talked with Leeloo earlier and she wants to tell you her story by herself at dinner. Will you be okay with that? »

« I would… I would be honored. »
