Ch.7
For a couple of seconds, the longest seconds ever I have to say, all I heard was my heavy breathing and Danas, in and out. We fogged up the little area where are mouths were attached to against the glass and once in a while we would detach our face from the now ever clear glass and wipe it down with our sleeves. But at this point we were still inhaling and exhaling, in and out.
Directly in front of us was the love I was talking about, unfolding and refolding right before our eyes. Bette and Tina stood there for what seemed like forever and all they said to each other was a simple Hey.
At that moment of course, I was getting fed up from hiding and my patience during this pause time was running low. I wanted to punch the glass window with my ridiculous arm strength because hey, all that work out was waiting for something this big. And when I get through the window and make my way inside the office, I swear to god I could yell chaos and just say what the ***** is going on with all this silence!!!
But I didnt. I looked at Dana who was at my left side, completely still and watching with amusement at this hoe down that hasnt even started yet. And when it finally did, I was beyond bored to death that I thought even if they decided to ***** each other mercilessly right in front of us and wake me up from this stupor, I would just yawn and move along, throw tomatoes at them while their at it.
Bette finally got up from behind her desk and ever so gently glided gracefully to shake hands with Tina.
Thank you. Im glad you found my earring. It was my Grannys and she wouldve freaked if she knew it was missing.
No problem at all. It was my pleasure. Just glad that Granny didnt freak.
Was that a joke? Porter that was sooooo lame! Bette snickered a tiny laugh as she went to her desk again and pulled out an envelop from one of the drawers and glided again towards Tina. I carefully wiped the fog out of my window and squinted at the figure in front of me. She was actually gliding I swear. Like walking in slow motion, like Bettes steps were insanely cautious and numbered, outrageously choreograph! Was it just my eyes because Im sure they were just bugging out at this point!

Thanks for that – another great chapter. Hope there isn’t going to be too much Tina-denial!
This is a very funny and unique spin on T & B’s beginning. I like it.
Poor Dana, not only Alice but ALL THE READERS here were covering her mouth !!! And no doubt all of us were also wiping the window ! What an intimate first kiss for Bette and Tina, really, surrounded by this impatient crowd… (lol)
