Andie was pacing back and forth, while she was talking on her cell phone.

Yeah all of the band wants to do the shows, Brody. She said running her other hand through her hair.

Brody was sitting in the place that she shared with Josh. One leg was draped over the arm of her couch.

***** awesome. Oh, we arent going to tour with the Tattletales. Seems that half of the band are heroine junkies. We dont want that ***** on the road with us. So wed like you guys to do some of the tour with us. The money isnt that great, but you guys would be able to survive. Brody yawned and took a swig of the beer in her hand.

Andie plopped onto her own couch, chewing on her bottom lip. She tried to keep her voice from sounding so distraught. Excellent. Well do it then. How long will it be?

About three months. I guess we arent just doing the coast. We will be in Cali, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Idaho.. Brody scratched her head and then pushed her now longer black hair behind her ear. She played with her lip ring while she listened to Andie.

What the ***** is in Idaho? Andie chuckled.

Umm, no ***** clue. Brody smirked. Any way Ill be there in a week, we can meet up and talk more then.

All righty. See you then. Andie said and hung up. She leaned back into the couch and sighed. She couldnt believe that she was so disappointed about everything. She knew it was because she didnt want to leave Shane behind. Andie just didnt have a good feeling about this. She heard Tarin coming out of the bathroom, towel drying her hair. She had come over to help Andie cook dinner for the night. Tarin noticed that Andie wasnt looking very happy. She walked over to Andie and sat down on the couch next to her.

Whats wrong? Tarin asked, her face of warmth and compassion was on.

I dont know. Andie looked at Tarin for a minute. I guess I just dont want to be without Shane for very long.

Tarin nodded understandingly and patted Andies hand. Its only what.. three months if you go tour with them on the other dates.

We are touring with them for sure. I guess the Tattletales are out. Andie said setting her cell phone next to her.

Tarin grinned. Thats awesome Andie.

Yeah, I guess. Its what I have always wanted to do. You know, tour with Brody, she has always been one of my favorite artists. Andie said.

Well, you are getting your chance now. Enjoy it. Tarin smiled.

Andie nodded. Lets get started on dinner.

Andie got up and started towards the kitchen with a smirking Tarin following behind her.

During the next four weeks, Andie had been so busy. If she wasnt practicing with the band, she was working at the Planet or getting music for Velvets ready or recording some more songs to sell CDs at the shows. However, she always made sure that she was with Shane during any of their free time.

Alice and Dana were slowly beginning a relationship. They reminded everyone of an old married couple. They still poked fun at each other, only now they held hands and kissed while they did it.

Shane stayed busy working at Lather and also got to work on some movie sets. She was proud of Andie and made sure that she knew it. She tried to convince Andie that nothing would wedge itself between them.

Zo had been dating Carmen regularly. They became each others biggest supporters. Carmen would come to all of the shows and cheer Zo on, who would go where ever Carmen D.J.d and help her pick out music to play.

Tina, Bette, Kit and Jenny were in complete shock when they found out about Alice and Dana. It was still strange to see them together. Bettes job at the CAC got worse by the day, but she had some other galleries that were interested in having her work for them. Tina went out with different women, one being Velvet. She had worked on letting go of her grudge against Bette. Jenny was disappointed about Zo dating Carmen, but accepted it.

The Prozacs had played the L.A shows with the Distillers and they had been successful. It had made Brody excited to have the Prozacs playing with them.

On the night before the bands were to begin the tour. Kit and the girls threw a good luck party for the band.

God, I cant believe you guys are going to be gone for three months. Alice said hugging Andie tight. Bette and Dana were standing on either side of Alice.

Yeah, its gonna be so strange not seeing you for a while. Bette smiled and rubbed Andies arm.

I am gonna miss you guys. ***** Im so nervous. Andie bounced slightly.

Shane came up behind Andie and slipped her arms around Andies waist. Youre gonna be great, baby.

Andie smiled and rested her hands onto Shanes.

Thanks. Andie said.

What time do you leave? Dana asked.

We have a bus coming for us tonight. They are gonna pick us up here in a few hours. Andie sighed.

Why are you leaving tonight and not tomorrow? Bette said spotting Tina talking to Velvet.

We have to be in Nevada at a certain time. Andie leaned back against Shane, who rested her chin on Andies shoulder.

Zo and Carmen were dancing, closely almost as if they were hanging on for their dear lives.

All right everyone, its cake time! Kit said as she carried out a huge cake. She set down the cake in front of the four band members. Everyone clapped, while Andie and Zo laughed. The cake had fake Prozac pills all over it and said Kick Some ***** Andie kissed Kits cheek.

Later, Andie had tried to get Shane to dance with her, but she wouldnt budge. So Andie grabbed Dana and went onto the floor dancing to Pinks If God is a DJ song. Shane and Alice sat back watching the two.

So what are you guys going to do while shes gone? Alice asked licking frosting off of her fork.

Im gonna go to her however much I can. Shane said.

What if that isnt much? Alice looked at Shane.

Were gonna be fine. Shane said.

Alice nodded, she cold tell that Shane was nervous about being separated from Andie. She definitely knew Andie was. Alice watched Shane as she watched Andie, Alice saw something in Shane hadnt seen before. It was Shane having a deep love for someone else.

Have you told her yet? Alice asked.

Shane looked at Alice confused. Told her what?

That you love her. Alice leaned forward.

Shane was quiet as she thought. No, not yet.

Alice smiled softly. You might want to do that.

I know. I know. Im waiting for the perfect time. Shane took a bite of cake.

Suddenly someone yelled over the music. The bus is here you guys!

A bus drove passed the Planet and then around to the back. Shane felt her stomach turn and she looked at Andie who was all ready staring at Shane. Sadness filled her gray eyes as she walked towards Shane. Shane made sure to keep a confident smile on.

Theyre early. Andie said to Shane.

Shane nodded. They stood staring at each other. Andie let out a breath. We better get out there.

Shane smiled again and took Andies hand. Their friends followed them. Zo and Carmen, Bette and Tina, Alice and Dana, Kit, Velvet and Jenny.

When they opened the back door they saw the band members of the Distillers outside. Brody was smoking and then smiled when she saw Zo and Andie.

Hey lady. Andie said giving her a hug.

Hey you guys ready? Brody asked.

Yep the boys are bringing out the stuff. Oh Brody this is my girlfriend Shane.

Hows it going? They shook hands.

Good thanks. Shane said.

Andie turned around and looked at the women who had become her close friends.

This is it gals. Andie smiled as she moved to Kit and hugged her tight. Thanks for everything, Kit.

Youre welcome. There will be a job here if you want, when you come back. Kit said.

Andie nodded and then went down the line hugging each woman. When she got to Alice she hugged her for a long time. Andie pulled back.

Call me or come see me. Andie said.

You got it. I loathe you tramp. Alice smirked.

Not as much as I loathe you trollop. Andie laughed then went to Shane.

They hugged and kissed passionately.

Ill come see you as soon as I can. Shane said softly.

I know you will. Andie said staring into Shanes eyes.

Zo had kissed Carmen one last time and then got on the bus.

Come on And. Zo called to her.

Ok. She touched Shanes cheek before going up the stairs of the bus.

Andie? Shane said urgently.

Andie turned around.

Ill miss you. Was all she could manage to say.

Andie nodded. Ill miss you, too, Shane.

She waved and got on the bus. Shane stared after the bus as it drove away. Alice walked up to her and put an arm around her shoulders.

That my friend would have been the perfect time. Alice smirked.

Shane just nodded.

Come on lets go back in there, we look creepy staring down the alley at nothing. Alice pulled Shane back to the others and then went inside.
