    The one where Bette is recovering and Tina rests

    SOMETHING SO RIGHT

    Chapter 152

    　

    Bette opened her eyes and looked around for some sort of idea as to what time it was. Since she had been in the hospital she had no idea of time. She looked at Tina who was fast asleep in the chair

     

    – unfortunately she was too far away for Bette to be able to touch her which was what she really wanted to do. She smiled – Bette wished that Tina would go home and get a good nights sleep but so far she had stayed with Bette for the full four days she had been ill. Bette did feel better – she was out of intensive care and now had her own room which was very nice but not the same as being at home which was what she wanted more than anything.

    Bette had felt better but she had always felt much worse. She was just lying and staring at Tina when the door opened and Elizabeth came in. Bette smiled at her

    “Hello darling

     

    – how are you feeling ?”

    “Not bad

     

    – try not to wake Tina “

    “She looks done in “

    “She is but she won’t go home “

    “She should “

    Elizabeth approached the bed and hugged Bette. The brunette was now off the oxygen and was no longer on a drip so she didn’t look as ill as she had when she had first been taken ill.

    Elizabeth looked at Tina who was fast asleep

    “She should go home “

    “I am not going to make her “ Bette said “I know what she is like

     

    – I was the same so if I tell her to go home I am just going to be a hypocrite because when she was ill there was no force on this planet that would have made me leave her”

    “All the same “

    “All the same “ Bette said “Tina is her own woman and I

     

    respect her wishes. Yes I would like her to go and get a decent nights sleep but she has started to go home and have a nap in the afternoon and to have a shower and get changed – she will know when she feels comfortable enough to leave me”

    1. Damned kid’s crazy and Willow is more like her father than she realizes. Don’t blame Tina at all, I wouldn’t lift a finger for her. Good to see that Bette is doing better and so glad she had that talk with her mother about melvin.Elizabeth should listen to Tina when she tells her something about Bette, no one knows her better than Tina. I can tell that Elizabeth doesn’t like that but if she keeps it up she will lose Bette again and that won’t be a pretty sight. Great chapter. Thanks.

    2. Well seems as though Little Miss Pain in the Ass is in deep dodo. Like Father like daughter. I think Tina will she think long and hard before she bails her out. Glad Bette is getting better.
