Chapter 65
Tina parked her car in front of the Planet and after looking it she walked inside. She was hoping that some of the gang were around. She had been in meetings all morning – she had arrived at the office at 7:30 and had put a very good morning in. What she now needed was an hour to chill out. She looked around and didn’t see any of the usual crowd but she did see her baby brother sitting on his own reading a book. Tina walked across and sat down
“Hey Finn “
He looked up and smiled
“Hey there “
He was dressed in faded jeans and a black tee-shirt.
“Been to work ?” Tina asked
“I started early – my boss was very impressed – bit hard to sleep when Bette is stomping around the place – what time did she leave ?”
“Quarter to seven “
“I thought only farmers got up that early “
“Its her show on Friday and she is really wound up “
“I know – she chewed me out last night “
“She doesn’t mean it “
“I know that and I should have washed up after myself “
“Yes you should have – what are you waiting for ?”
“I have ordered chilli – you want some ?”
“No – just a sandwich for me – I came out to just get away from the office. I was expecting some of the others to be around “
“You will just have to put up with me “
“That is more than fine by me. I will just go and order some food “
While she was standing at the counter Tina looked across at her brother. He had taken to LA life like a duck to water – he absolutely loved life in the city. One of the reasons was no doubt the friendship that had built up between him and Shane. The two hung out together a lot – Shane took him to see bands and introduce him to people and they were becoming good pals. Tina thought that it was good for both of them. Shane was wild and had a reputation for getting herself into trouble when she had been drinking or taking drugs. Finn was not into drugs – he was very opposed to them and already he had taken Shane home when she was out of her face. Bette had joked that Shane now saw him as much as her brother as Tina did.

Thanks for posting AllyE. These two are so right for each other. They love each other so much and Tina is doing a great job of taking care of her girl and am happy that Bette is for the most part helping Finbar out and haelping him acclimate to LA. Now also helping Willow. All in alll they are taking care of each other and the extended family which is what is all about. Great chapter. Post when you can.

paperwork or sex, paperwork or sex….hmmm not really much of a decision of you ask me (LOL). Bette got the answer right in the end and went home w/ Tina. I’m glad that Finn has found his niche so that Bette doesn’t strangle him for crashing her and Tina’s love nest. I’m sure Bette’s show will be a great success and she’ll have ablast being able to share that wonderful night with Tina. PPS!
