    “Bette admitted the other day that she wants to make her peace because it’s the right thing to do and also for my sake”

    “And has Emma said the same thing?”
    “Pretty much “
    “So – Bette is mature – she is also sensible and she knows what it means to you. She won’t do anything that hurts you “
    “Yeah – that is Kate’s department at the moment”
    “What?”
    “She showed up on Saturday – she only showed up for one reason “
    “To make her peace?” Matt said hopefully

    “No – that was what she said when she showed up but what she really came to find out about was why mom wasn’t answering her phone – she also said she wanted to get some things from the apartment “

    “Oh God “

    “She really didn’t take it well when I told her that mom had changed her phone and also beefed up her security system”

    “What the hell has got into her?”

    “I have no idea but it really upset me “

    “Oh honey “

    “She is up to something “
    “What?”

    Tina was silent for a few minutes and finally shrugged “Something for sure – why else would she want access to the apartment?”
    “Paperwork “

    “She took everything from her filing cabinet when she cleared out “

    “She might have left something in between the pages of a law book – if they are anything like us we still find papers and notes from cases that ended over a decade ago”

    Tina shrugged again

    “So what happened?” Matt asked

    “I got upset and Bette told her to go. I am not doing very well staying out of this divorce but it’s even harder when you get the feeling that you are being played “
    “At least you sussed her out “

    “She wasn’t subtle – Bette was furious with her. Kate sneered at Bette because Bette defended Emma – she said that the last time Bette saw Emma she said something like “I am never going to fucking well forgive you “- that was just stirring “
    “Did she say it?”

      Now comes the big encounter. I bet it will be very good (in Ally Style) :-) I hope they manage to bury the past.
      Tina has been a little jealous? -I hope she knows that Bette madly in love with her.

    5. There has to be drama if the story is written by allyemmerson. I just hope that Emma and Bette bury the hatchet and……not into each other’s skull! Thank you for updating so frequently. That drives up the enthusiasm for each chapter. Maybe, Bette’s friend will be flirtatious with Bette in front of Tina. Bette likes to flirt/joke as well especially w/her friends. Familiarity and all that.

    7. Two in a row, wow. What a bonus for the midweek! I think Emma and Bette are going to bond over beer and dessert especially after Bette found the letter. I think Tina will be jealous over the friends so she and Bette will have hot make up sex. Thanks for posting.

    8. Two posts in a row, what a midweek surprise! I know that Bette will make nice with Emma for Tina’s sake. Fish, beer and dessert will make due. I hope Emma will want to show her gratitude for the envelope Bette found and make peace with the girls. Tina has no need to be insecure about Bette. She has her wrapped tight but some jealous make up sex would be great. Thanks Ally!
