Shane: Tina?

Alice: Don’t ask me

Shane: Where are you?

Alice: Outside the Daily Planet

Shane: Have you heard from Tina since she left?

Alice: No

Shane: Either have I

Alice: Kate?

Shane: No

Alice: Maybe Bette’s hunch isn’t just a hunch

Shane: I’m thinking the same thing

Alice: Crap

Shane: Meet you at The Planet

Alice: No problem

Shane: *disconnects the call*

Alice: Bette?

Bette: Yeah

Alice: Shane is coming down to the Planet

Bette: Okay

Alice: She’ll be okay

Bette: I hope so

Alice: *puts her arm around her shoulder* She will be

Bette: I can’t lose her again

Alice: You won’t

(Exit scene. Cut to The Fortress. Faora/Jodi, Alia and Basqat enter the Fortress. Basqat is carrying Tina)

Faora/Jodi: So this Jor-El’s legacy to his daughter

Alia: Jor-El certainly made sure that she would get the best that Krypton had to often

Faora/Jodi: He could not leave her unguided

Basqat: Jor-El knew what she was to become

Faora/Jodi: Put her down

(Basqat places Tina down on a bed like crystal)

Alia: Jor-El is no fool Faora

Faora/Jodi: I know that

(Tina begins to come around)

Basqat: Faora *Nods down at Tina who is now conscious*

Tina: My father will not allow this

Faora/Jodi: Your father is responsible for this!

Tina: I know why he imprisoned your General and his comrade in the phantom zone; they destroyed our home and yet here you stand following the men who ruined your lives and murdered our families

Faora/Jodi: He did it for the greater good

Tina: They murdered our families; sons, daughters, mothers, fathers, uncles, aunties, cousins and for what? Because they wanted a new Krypton where the blood of the house of Zod and Ur are dominant

Faora/Jodi: The blood of the pure

Tina: There is nothing pure about the blood of evil

Faora/Jodi: Evil? Zod and Jax-Ur are all that were good about Krypton

Tina: They destroyed own home!

Alia: And the human race is destroying theirs

Tina: They lack the light to show the way

Faora/Jodi: That’s Jor-El speaking

Tina: I am his daughter

Faora/Jodi: Yes you are which is why I know you won’t keep your side of the deal

Tina: Really? How can you know that?

Faora/Jodi: I know the house of El

Tina: I’m not my father nor will I ever be

Faora/Jodi: But it’s his blood that runs through your veins

Tina: Perhaps which is why I wouldn’t underestimate the power of this fortress

Faora/Jodi: It’s a tribute to a long dead civilisation

Jor-El: You will not succeed in your plot Faora

(Faora/Jodi, Basqat and Alia look around them startled)

Jor-El: It will not be you who releases hell upon Earth

Faora/Jodi: Oh really? I have your daughter and she will release Zod and Jax-Ur

Jor-El: I think not

(Tina reaches behind her and retrieves a gateway to the another plain of existence)

Tina: Time to meet your fate

(Tina throws the disc high into the clouds)

Jor-El: Your master will be defeated have no doubt about that

(Faora/Jodi, Alia and Basqat are pulled into the sky and into the other plain of existence. Tina breathes a sigh of relief)

Tina: Thank you father

Jor-El: Although their followers are banished Kirana, Zod and Jax-Ur are still dangerous

Tina: I understand

Jor-El: Unlike their followers they will have the abilities that come with the yellow sun; you will not be able to defeat them alone

Tina: But there is no one else

Jor-El: Look to your allies my daughter and it is there you will find the answer

Tina: Who!

(The Fortress is silent. Tina is now left with the mission to find those who will help among her friends. With Faora, Alia and Basqat her job has become considerably easier but what of Faora’s cover as Jodi Lerner, the editor and chief of the Daily Planet? Who will replace her?)
