Previously:
Everything felt so right… so comfortable between them, in fact all the tension broke loose once they began speaking… But as Tina scanned through the rest of the lines, she couldnt help but take a sharp intake of breath as she read the last thing the script was calling for:
Act 5. Scene 2:
The lights slowly dim, and everything falls quiet as both actors lean in and passionately kiss.
I love you
These were the first words that meant anything to anyone in a while. In the silence that filled the entire space, it was a surprise that either one of them even bothered to speak up.
How could three little words bring forth so much emotion? Such warmth and meaning to an otherwise empty moment?
It wouldve been easier if they just let things be if everything remained stagnant and never changed. But the last three words changed everything.
Like a heavy cloud of smoke that stifles your lungs, the phrase I love you simply clung in the air, just dying for a response.
But then again nothing came.
Settled solemnly on one side of the couch, Tina sat still as she let the effect of Bettes words wash over her Her soft, yet sultry voice ringing through Tinas ears, carrying along with it a quality that seemed so cool, so confident so calming, that the sound easily floated across the crisp afternoon air and indeed one could listen to it for far longer than it lasted but of course like all things, it was bound to end.
A deafening silence took over once more, only this time it was filling in the void of something that cannot be answered right away.
It was important to take note that the two of them were seated only mere inches apart, and that the longer they sat there without uttering a word, the more it seemed like they were countries apart.
Say something! Tina willed herself but she simply couldnt. Today she likened her situation to being caught inside a pool of quicksand, not knowing what to do yet understanding that whatever she did, she was going to sink even deeper anyway. At the back of her mind, she was forced to quietly wait, thinking that it would only be a matter of time until things snapped between her and Bette But the question was when?

So glad to see another chapter of this story. Like the others, I was wondering if you’d forgotten about it! Lovely tension built up, and very sexy kisses, but who is that annoying person interrupting! Bet it’s Alice… :) Keep on writing please.
“I Love You” those words mean so much.. i know cause i feel something everytime i say them… or i hear them from “That” special person!.;).. This was a great chapter baby… i loved it so much… mmm sexy kisses hehe..
