“Drew, I still want to be friends with you. I valued our friendship too, I don’t want to lose that. And don’t worry about everything else. I do trust you. You had a moment of feelings and you acted on those feelings, maybe in the wrong way. I just hope that anything like this wont happen again?”

“Never! God! I would never, I don’t even know why I acted on them in the first place but I won’t ever do it again. Plus those feelings are gone as quickly as they came, I’m- don’t tell the girls- but I’m kind of seeing someone now,” Drew replied, a smile creeping into her face that she brushed away, still feeling awful.

“Friends?”

“Friends!” Drew said excitedly and hugged Carmen. Shane had appeared at sometime in the doorway and was leaning on it with a pleased smile on her face.

“Don’t look at us like that,” Drew said without barely looking up.

“I’m not looking at you like anything! It’s just nice to see-” Shane started and Jenny walked it, kissing her on the cheek, then Carmen and Drew as she reached for a piece of toast and chewed thoughtfully. “My girls,” Shane finished with a satisfied smile that made Carmen melt. Drew blushed and Jenny smiled back at Shane with the same satisfied smile.

Carmen took the few steps between them quickly and wrapped her arms around Shanes shoulders. “Good morning babyagain,” Carmen whispered the last part and bit her lip adorably, running her fingers through her hair as Shane turned her head quickly to catch her lips in a kiss.

“Yes it is!”

“Oh *****!” Jenny said and covered her mouth with her hands, interrupting everyone’s separate thoughts. Shane cocked a brow.

“What?”

“We have to go to The Planet guys! Today’s your birthday breakfast,” Jenny said exasperatedly as if they should know. She put down the half eaten bread and looked happy and excited.

“Hun my birthday was yesterday. Member, the party balloons, streamers, presents, embarrassment,” “Hot *****,” Carmen hummed in Shane’s ear and she blushed even though the other two hadn’t heard.
