Shane missed the smile on Carmen’s face, as she was once again busy examining that fascinating spot on the wall. She retreated slightly from Carmen, immediately missing the contact, “I guess I’m famous for a lot of not so great things. It’s Okay, I completely understand why you wouldn’t want to.”
Carmen quickly wound a finger into the belt loop of Shane’s pants and pulled her back till their hips were once again touching, “That wasn’t a no.”
Shane finally looked up into Carmen’s eyes and saw the naked desire reflected there. Her confidence returned, she tilted her head and smirked, “Well if it wasn’t a no, then it must have been a yes…”
“I guess it must have been.” Carmen’s eyes twinkled as she leaned in to capture Shane’s mouth with her own, she’d begun to think she would never get a chance to do this.
When Carmen’s lips touched hers Shane was overwhelmed with sensation. Carmen’s fingers in her hair, Carmen’s breasts pressed against her own, she put her hands on Carmen’s perfect ass and pulled her in closer, deepening the kiss.
Slowly, Carmen began to realize that the music had changed tempo, she had no idea how long she’d been lost in the kiss. She reluctantly pulled away and realized that half the people on the dance floor were dancing, and the other half were just standing there staring openly at the two of them.
Shane closed her eyes for a second and tried to catch her breath, she was more turned on then she had ever been in her life. It seemed impossible, it was just one kiss. Shane couldn’t even count the number of women she had kissed, but she had never felt anything like that before.
People were still blatantly staring in their direction, Carmen had never kissed anyone with this many people watching before, she reached down and caught Shane’s hand in her own, “Let’s get out of here.”
Shane looked dazed, her voice a shade deeper than usual, “God yes.”
Carmen laughed, a full laugh that shook her whole body, “That’s not what I meant. You haven’t even taken me on a date yet baby.”
Shane’s pale face blushed red, she loved the way Carmen had called her baby, “I’m sorry, I mean, I know that’s not what you meant.” She shook her head, she couldn’t believe how flustered she was.
Carmen dropped Shane’s hand and wrapped her arm around her waist instead, “Breakfast?”
Shane smiled and wound her arm around Carmen’s waist and led her towards the exit.

Awesome update, made my heart melt.There are pletny of Sharmen shippers out there. This show manages to ruin every romantic couple but the fanfic are always a welcomed excape from that. Look at TiBette, things couldn’t be worse and still people write fanfic about them. People belive in the love of the charaters even if the show doesn’t. That is the greatest thing about fanfic.Thank you for this update, it’s def. one of the best Sharmen fics out there! Can’t wait for an update:)
