    Next morning…Bette’s house…Alice cot blocks Bette…While Bette receives the wrong information

    Eric: I understand that but-

    Tina: no but’s this conversation has ended of right now

    Tina gets out of bed and enters the bathroom…Eric is furious…

    Eric: so much for dating a ***** cop

    Back to Bette’s house…

    Bette and Alice finish up their coffee…

    Alice: ok what are doing later?

    Bette: nothing…why?

    Alice: I’m having a get together tonight at my place. Shane, Dana, and Tina will be there. So come and hang out with us

    Bette: I don’t know. I think I might stay home

    Alice: what is with all of these I don’t know’s…your coming

    Bette: alright alright I’m coming. What time is it?

    Alice: it’s at 8 and don’t be late…

    Alice exits Bette’s…

    Meanwhile at Alice P’s magazine

    Knock! Knock!

    Alice: come in

    Kate: Alice you have a call on line 2 I think it’s Dana

    Alice: transfer the call

    Kate: ok

    2 seconds later the phone rings…

    Alice: Alice Piezecki speaking

    Dana: Alice guess what?

    Alice: what?

    Dana: Eric proposed to Tina

    Alice: what!…your ***** kidding right?

    Dana: no…He really did

    Alice: oh my god tell her congratulations for me

    Dana: Al she didn’t answer him yet?

    Alice: what?…what the ***** is she waiting for?

    Dana: she didn’t say…but I hope she says yes

    Alice: you I hope she says yes too…Those two belong together

    Dana: you’re right. Maybe she will hopefully. But that’s what I wanted to tell you

    Alice: ok thanks for the message

    Dana: your welome. I’ll see you tonight…bye

    Alice: bye…

    Alice ends the call…She then calls Bette…

    Bette: hey Alice?

    Alice: hey…guess who showed up this morning at Tina’s?

    Bette: who?

    Alice: Eric…girl he came home to propose

    Bette’s doesn’t believe what she just heard…

    Bette: what?…did you say propose

    Alice: yes…he came home to propose to Tina girl. Isn’t that great?

    Bette: no I mean yes…yes it is god so soon

    Alice: can you believe it? It’s funny because she was just talking about him that night at the party. I knew they’d get back together

    Bette: hmmm…Al can I call you back?

    Alice: sure…are you ok?

    Bette: I’m fine…I just need to focus on this food I’m making. I can’t do two things at once

    Alice: ok but you better call me back

    Bette: I will…

    Bette ends the call…She walks over to the nightstand and retrieves Tina’s number on a piece of paper that she had put it on…She thought that she should call Tina and find out what’s going on…She really didn’t feel as though it was in her nature to do so…She looked at the number one more time before picking up the phone…She dialed Tina’s number…She answered…

    Tina: hello…hello…hello…

    Bette ends the call…She tore the paper in half and tossed in the trash…She got dressed and called Tammy…The girl that attended Dana’s party from the other night…

    10. thanx 4 the post V, man i’m nervous, i wish bette had enough guts 2 talk 2 tina, i’m shocked that she threw tinas phone number away, i like the fact that tina is a cop, i find it very cute and sexy, bette needs 2 get her head straight and talk 2 tina, if tina gets married to eric, and bette loses tina which everybody knows that she should be her soulmate, bette can only blame herself. i agree tina should see the caller id and call back. bette is so damn stubborn.
