Bette approches the door and knocks on it…

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Veronica: “hello”

Bette: “V…it’s me Bette…”

Veronica opens the door and lets her in…Bette closes the door and locks it….she walks over to the closet and takes out the box of sanatary napkins and hands them to her sister…her eyes light up…

Veronica: “oh my god…thanks so much…how did you know?”

Bette: “a woman’s instinct…finish up…you don’t wanna miss the party”

Bette heads out the bathroom and back to the party…

Tina: “did you help her?”

Bette: “yeah she’s all set…”

Alice comes up to the side of them…

Alice: “Bette…this is a great party…and the food’s awesome”

Bette: “hmmm…don’t thank me…thank the chef of the hour”

Tina smiles and raises her spatula…

Tina: “thank you…thank you…compliments of the chef…”

Bette and Alice laugh…

Alice: “Bette…what time did Dana say she was coming?”

Bette looks over at Tina…

Tina: “I think she’s coming at 8…what time is it?”

Bette checks the clock…

Bette: “it’s a quarter to 8 now…”

she glances over at the door and back at Tina…Shane comes over…

Shane: “mmm that smells good…Tina….I didn’t know you could cook?”

Tina: “believe me…I didn’t know I could do half of the things I do…”

DING! DONG!

Tina: “Dana’s here”

Alice: “alright…”

Jonathan comes flying out of now where past the brunette…

Bette: “hey super fly…where are you going?”

Jonathan: “to get the door”

Bette: “no…I’ll get it…”

Tina: “John boy…your mother’s calling you…”

Jonathan: “no she’s not…”

A moment later Bette’s mother says…

Mom: “Jonathan…come help your momma to the bathroom sugar”

Jonathan looks back at Tina…The blond winks at him… and he goes over to his mother…Bette smiles and heads to the door…She opens it and welcomes Dana inside…she walks her out back with the rest of the group…

Dana: “hey Tina”

Tina: “hey Dana…are you hungry?”

Dana: “no…I’ll probably have something later…ooh…I’ll take a beer though”

Tina: “they’re over in the cooler”

Dana: “thanks”

Dana heads over to the cooler…Alice comes up behind her and smacks her ***** and says…

Alice: “it’s about time you came superstar”

Dana: “first off…I’m not a superstar and second who gave you the right to touch me?”

she sips on her beer…

Alice: “don’t front…you know you liked it…”

Dana: “whatever”

Shane comes over…she has a shot glass in her hand…

Shane: “hey Ms. Dana”

Dana: “hey Shane…I see your enjoying yourself”

Shane: “always…I have fun wherever I go”

Alice: “yeah I know the best parts in someone’s bed”

Shane: “don’t hate Al…I don’t need to know what people do in the privacy of their own home to get off..”

Alice’s face turns red…Shane smiles and sips on her beer…

Meanwhile at the grill where Bette and Tina are…

Tina: “I think you better get over there”

Bette: “where?”

Tina: “over there where Shane and Alice are…things are about to heat up…”

Bette: “what about Jonathan?”

Tina: “I’ll watch him…just go and handle that…right nows not the time…besides your parents are here…do you think this would be a postive example to show your sister and brother?”

Without words Bette walked over to the group…she stepped in between Alice and Shane…

Bette: “you guys…right now is not the time”

Shane: “I know…but Alice here doesn’t know how to mind her business”

Bette: “duh…you I think I don’t know that…”

Alice looks down at the pavement…Bette see’s this and sighs…she says…

Bette: “Al I’m sorry about that…but you know sometimes you can be a nag”

Alice: “I know…but I can’t help it sometimes…it’s very addicting….”

Everyone laughs at the blond’s comment…

Bette: “look…could you two just try to get along for the rest of the night?”

Alice: “yeah”

Shane: “yeah…”

Shane extends her hand to Alice and says…

Shane: Al…sorry for saying what I said…we cool?”

Alice: “yeah we cool…”

Bette sighs with relief…

Bette: “thank god…”

she whispers underneath her breath…

She turns and looks at Tina…The blond smiles at her…She makes her way to her…

Bette: “thank god I got there in time…”

Tina: “yeah…what time is it?”

Bette: “9:45″

Tina: “come on…we have to get ready”

Bette: “for what?”

Tina: “the kiss silly…”

Bette: “so they do kiss?”

Tina: “yes…but you have the option to change it before it happens…see in my dream they kissed…now in reality you’ll have the chance to stop them from kissing…”

Bette looks confused…

Bette: “what?”

Tina: “I’ll explain more of it later…come on”…

Bette and Tina enter the house…
