Seemingly Lost Chptr. 27
Tina paid the driver and tipped him handsomely for bringing the remainder of her luggage into her living room. She put down her carry on bag and took a big breath, she was so happy to be home. Although she still loved her job she hated having to open a new branch, it took her away from her family for so long. Emails, phone calls, and even internet video cameras were starting to get very old and lonesome. She missed being able to hold her babies and have Bette take care of her.
She looked around her living room and saw where the shelf against the opposite wall now had more of the children’s art work on it. Tina had built and designed this intricate shelf for Bette’s awards and accomplishments and the other shelf was for the children’s awards. Looking at it now it seems that Bette was using some of her Grammy’s and other awards as stand for pictures the children drew for her. She smiled seeing that her daughter had not given up asking for a giraffe and her son now apparently wants, what looks like a tiger for a pet as well. Tina turned the corner towards the hallway and was still taken by the large painting of a portrait they had taken with the kids. Each child was bare chest as was Tina and Bette as they each cradled her pregnant belly. It made Tina smile every time she passed it in the hall way, seeing it as a screen saver on her phone was just not enough.
Tina walked further into the house and noticed that it was quiet. She looked at her watch and realized that it was now nap time. The one and only thing Bette was strict on was the children having sufficient amount of rest during the day. She looked into the children’s room and didn’t see their little heads in the beds, or under the beds as they sometimes fell asleep under there. She looked in her son’s room and there was no trace of them in there either. Because although Tina built the extra bedroom when the babies were toddlers they still refused to sleep apart. She walked a little further down the hall towards their bedroom and heard the little snores coming from the room, she smiled wide at the sight in front of her.

Great story, amazing chapter. I hope not too long for the next update. Waiting anxiously.
Loved the update. Their love is so very all encompassing. Tina’s love for Bette and their children is very precious and sweet. For Tina to see her wife caressing their son and it brought her to tears is a very sweet thing to read. Thanks so much for bringing us another chapter. PPS
