Scavenger Hunt – The L World Gone Mad 3~BluJewel~
“You’re a fucking lunatic!” Shane laughed at Dana who was staggering around hysterically laughing and repeating how big Shane‘s head looked.
“Oh, oh!” Dana moaned. “My sides hurt! Stop making me laugh,” Dana whined.
“You wanna another hit or what?” Shane extended the joint to Dana.
“I want you to do it. Put it in my mouth. Do it! Do it again!” Dana said louder than she should have as a mother walked past with her young son, looking at the pair with shock and disgust.
“Heathens!” The woman yelled, as she hurried her son past them.
Shane roared with laughter almost choking on the joint.

Bette dashed through Michaels like a mad woman looking for the water color set and rubber bands. She found them, headed to the cash register, and waited impatiently in line to pay. The cashier was moving entirely too slow for Bette‘s taste and she huffed in annoyance as the girl complicated the simple act of scanning the items.
“Oh, for heaven’s sake,” Bette mumbled seemingly under her breath and rolled her eyes as the woman in front of her toyed with the items being scanned. “Do you have to do that?” Bette questioned with frustration.
The woman turned to face Bette, gave her a smug smile, and turned around ignoring her.
“Oh for the love of God!’ Bette blurted out, making the cashier jump and the woman in front of her turn around again. “What? I’m sure I’m not the only one here with something else to do today?” Bette looked at the line of people behind her.
“What in Sam Hane is your problem lady?” The woman asked with a mid-western accent. “Does everything and everyone in LA have to be in a hurry?”
“What in who?” Bette looked at the woman with ire and frustration. “All I want to do is pay for this stuff and get on with my day,” Bette fumbled with her wallet, dug out what she calculated the items to be almost to the penny and slammed the money on the counter. “And to answer your damn question, yes, everything and everyone in LA is in a damned hurry except you and the cashier.”
Bette made haste for the door as she checked her watch, not wanting to be out done by the others. She pushed the door open and found herself met with Hank, store security.

Jenny was standing in the magic store trying to recall what she was supposed to be buying. “A Raven, I’m a Raven,” she repeated, as she walked aimlessly down the aisles. Then it hit her like an eighteen wheeler. “Look at the list Jenny, you still have it,” Jenny told herself. “Dah! A whoopee cushion,” she chuckled. “Glad Bette wasn’t here, she’d rip me a new one for this,” Jenny continued talking to herself as she picked up the cushion and walked to the front. She paid for it, and headed back to the car noticing the commotion across the street and Bette in the middle of it.
“Oh shit! What the fuck?” Jenny digressed to her usual mindless diction.

Tina and Alice checked off the gained items and continued speeding to their next location.
“Do I wanna know how you got that arm Al?” Tina nervously inquired.
Alice grinned and shook her head. “But I’ll give it back I promise.”
“Good. So the card shop next?” Tina glanced over at Alice who was still grinning like a bad child at her success.
“Yup! We can get the Anne Geddes there. There’s a party store at the Target plaza for the whoopee cushion and then we can cruise by the beach to get the wood right?”
“Yeah and I know where we can get the Gustav Klimt print,” Tina grinned. “Blessing of being married to Bette.”
Alice nodded. “Speaking of blessings, Tit-na, I mean Tina,” Alice giggled and blushed at her slip. Tina playfully slapped Alice‘s arm. “Your little blessings held steady as you ran into the store. Man, if you and Bette weren’t, I’d, ouch!” Alice yelped as Tina smacked her arm again.
“Don’t start that shit again. Let’s go, we’re on a roll.”
Tina pulled over, ran into the card shop, secured the Anne Geddes and got back into the car. Alice had jumped into the driver’s seat and they sped off. At the Target plaza, they picked up the whoopee cushion and headed for the beach for the wood. Everything was going as they hoped so far.

Shane and Dana tried to regain their composure and failed miserably. They were really high and the munchies soon set in, so they staggered into a nearby caf and threw themselves into the booth. They arbitrarily ordered food and drinks, giggling loudly, and made fun of each other.
“This beats chasing all over Hollywood looking for shit don’t it,” Shane giggled as she slumped back in the seat.
