Chapter 19
Breaking the long kiss first Bette spoke. “Would you like to take a nap by the pool? You look like you need one.”
“Yeah, I could use one. A short one though because I don’t want to be up all night. Tomorrow is a busy day.”
“Busy may be the biggest understatement you have ever uttered.”
“I’m going to change into shorts and a t-shirt and I’ll be right out.”
“I’ll make you some tea.”
Bette was making tea when Tina emerged from the bedroom. She was dressed in a baggy t-shirt and running shorts, her blond hair pulled up off of her neck and her bare feet traipsing lightly across the cool kitchen tile.
”I think I am more tired than I thought. I sat on the edge of the bed and almost couldn’t get myself back up.”
“You look beat. You rest and I will bring my laptop out and get some work done.” Bette kissed Tina’s cheek and with two cups of tea in her hands she motioned for Tina to lead the way.
Once they had had a few minutes to talk and drink their tea Tina’s eye lids were getting visibly heavier and her head rested back against the lounger. Bette mentioned something about an email but when she got no response she saw that Tina was fast asleep. Her head was turned toward Bette trying to stay awake and listen but, she was out.

Bette was standing at the stove making stir fry for dinner when she felt arms slip around her waist and hold her tightly. “Hey you. Feel better?”
“How long did I sleep?” Tina’s voice was sleepy, sexy from her nap.
“A couple of hours. How do you feel?”
“Much better and something smells great.” Bette turned her head to the side to get a kiss from the blonde.
“I hope you like it.”
“The kiss was nice.”
Bette raised her eye brows and smiled, she knew she was being teased.

Dinner was enjoyed in the quiet privacy if the kitchen, feeding each other, touching and kissing like new loves do.

we all should be that lucky to have bette bathe you… loved the shower… and i have a good feeling the move to the states will be welcomed by both tina and gizelle… and of course bette and james… i posted my view of the convention weekend… its on both sites… this one on the home page… check it out… PPS

Hey, DJRK! What a delightful time you brought us between B&T. All the attention that B is providing T, is tender and endearing. It is beautiful to see how Tina is bringing the best out of Bette. i don’t think i will ever look at stir fry again and not think about B&T! lol i know i keep on saying it, but thank you for this wonderful story. i think Bette’s need to just have Tina in her arms instead of sex speaks volumes of the depth of her feelings. can’t wait for the next installment in their wonderful journey. have a relaxing week ahead!

Such a sweet story, it’s all feely good and warm. Is it going to stay this way or is the chick from the east going to shake things up at lunch time? Oh…what a shower! I adored Bette’s tenderness – it simply makes your heart melt. Tina’s recognition that only Bette touches her with the proper emotional and physical mixture was wonderful to read. I can’t wait for more…the story is so beautiful!
