    Safe in each other’s arms…Chapter twenty-one

Tina: “Thanks Bette. I really appreciate that you want to do that for me.”

Bette: “Anything for you my love. Are you going to continue working while you’re pregnant?”

Tina: “I’d like to work as long as possible. I think that I’m going to work till I’m about 7 months.”

Bette: “Okay T. It’s your decision. I’ll leave work earlier then so you don’t have to be alone too long.”

Tina: “You don’t have to do that Bette.”

Bette: “But I want to Tina. I’m sure Andy will understand. I’ll just work harder when I’m there and give a little responsibility to my colleagues. Marie is doing pretty well so by then she could handle some things for me. I have to make shure that they grow too so that we can accomplish more in less time.”

Tina: “Thanks Bette. (kiss) I would love to spend our afternoons together when as big as a house and I have to pee all the time.”

Bette and Tina both grinned and leaned in for another kiss.

Bette: “Are there any names you would like to use for our child? I know that we don’t know the ***** of the baby yet but we can find names for both a boy and girl.”

Tina: “I always liked the name Ryan for a boy. It means little king.”

Bette: “Ryan, our little king. I like it T.”

    Tina: “Really?”

Bette: “Yeah, I do. What about the middle name? We could maybe use on of our parent’s names? I like your father’s name.”

Tina: “Alexander? Do you know what it means?”

Bette: “Yes, I looked it up yesterday. It means protector of mankind.”

Tina: “Ryan Alexander Porter Kennard, our little king and the protector of mankind in our home.”

    Bette: “I love it.”

Tina: “Me too. Glad we figured that one out already. Now for a girl.”

Bette: “I always liked the name Hailey. I also looked it up yesterday. It means hero.”

Tina: “You sure did some research didn’t you? I like the name too. I kind of like Clarissa. It stands for brilliant.”

Bette: “I like both names and their meanings. I prefer Clarissa Hailey over Hailey Clarissa though.”

Tina: “So that would make Clarissa Hailey Porter Kennard.”
