They both smiled a loving smile at one another. Bette squeezed Tina’s hand and kissed it softly.

Bette: “I love you T.”

Tina: “I love you even more Bette.”

Bette: “Really? I’m not so sure about that. I think I love you even more.”

Tina: “And why do you think that?”

Bette: “Because you’re going to give me the greatest gift anyone could ever give me. First you give me your unconditional love and support and now you’re going to give me a child. There’s nothing that can top that T. Face it, I love you more.”

Tina: “Hmm, you think you’re tough now, don’t you? I still love you more!”

Bette: “I’m not tough T. I’m simply in love with the most beautiful woman in the world. I can see that this argument can last forever so why don’t you meet me halfway? I love you as much as you love me. Is that okay for you?”

Tina: “I can live with that.”

Bette: “You better.”

Tina grinned at Bette and softly, but lovingly, kissed Bette’s lips.

Tina: “Now let’s order. Unless you want me to starve to death?”

Bette: “Can’t have that T. Waiter!”

In a speed tempo both women’s orders were taken and they were served. They continued teasing one another throughout lunch and both didn’t want to return to work, but they sadly had no other choice. Bette drove Tina back to the office and then drove back to her work. She pushed herself to finish some of her work and at 6 Bette left the office. She was a little tired from all the paperwork she had finished, but was content of her accomplishment at work and excited to see Tina again.

She pulled up in front of the house and saw Tina stepping out of her car. Bette turned off the engine, took her briefcase and stepped out of her car. She walked towards Tina and took her hand in hers.

Bette: “Hey baby. I missed you. (kiss) How was the rest of your day?”

Tina: “Good actually. How was yours?”

Bette: “Good too. I got a lot of paperwork done so that won’t be bothering me anymore this week. I want to be able to only focus on you and our future baby. That is if you’re pregnant.”

Tina: “That we will find out tomorrow morning. Now, are you hungry? We could order a pizza and watch a movie together. What do you say?”

Bette: “Sounds great T. I love how you think. (kiss) Let’s get inside, I’ll order us a pizza and you pick a movie.”

The two women entered their house and fulfilled their tasks. Half an hour later, their pizza arrived and they settled in the couch. Tina sat in Bette’s legs and leaned back against her. While they watched the movie, Bette played with Tina’s hear and again realised how lucky she was to have such a beautiful wife and soon a child. She knew that she shouldn’t be thinking of their child already, nothing was certain, but still she loved to drift off in her thoughts of their happy little family. Bette gently caressed her lover’s cheek to find that Tina had dozed off. Bette turned off the movie and the television and carefully stood up. She took Tina in her arms and softly walked over to the bedroom. Tina was still sleeping so Bette laid her down on their bed and carefully undressed her. She took off her own clothes and spooned Tina from behind. She softly kissed Tina’s neck and draped her arm over Tina’s stomach. While she listened to Tina’s deep breathing, Bette drifted off to sleep, anxious about the news the next day would bring them.
