After breakfast and another steamy shower, that fulfilled al of Bette’s needs and cravings, they started to pack their bags.
Tina: “Babe, is there still room in that bag over there? This one is completely full.”
Bette: “Yeah there’s still plenty of room in that one. Here.”
Bette passed Tina the bag. Twenty minutes later everything was packed and ready to go. They headed to the reception and returned their key. The receptionist made out the bill and after signing it they got into the little van that would bring them to the airport. After a very long drive they arrived at the airport and went to check in their bags. When everything was checked, they still had one hour left before they could board the airplane. They decided to walk around the shops for a while.
Bette: “I’d like to check out that book shop. I read all the books I took with me and I don’t want to watch television during the whole plane ride.”
Tina: “Okay, I’ll come with you. I have to pick out a book to, by the way.”
After both having chosen a book, they paid and continued walking around, hand in hand. They both felt the hunger rising and decided to share a light meal before boarding the plane. They went to a Thai restaurant. There weren’t to many people there because it was already 2 p.m. Tina ordered a bowl of Tom Kha Kai and Bette chose the noodles with vegetables and chicken. They realized it was the same thing they ate the first day they got in Thailand and chuckled.
Bette: “Look at us. We’re already turning into an old married couple!”
Tina: “Well at least we will still have each other when we turn into boring people who live the same routine every day.”
Bette: “Yeah. As long as we have each other it’s not to bad.”
Their hands met and their fingers intertwined as they enjoyed the rest of their last meal in Thailand.

They boarded the plane and sat down in their seats. Bette was seated next to the window, with Tina right next to her. Nobody else sat in the third seat so Bette and Tina had a little bit of privacy. Not to long afterwards the plane took off and flew them back to LA. They got to sleep a lot and when they were awake, they rested in each other’s arms while they read their book. When the plane finally started the landing process, the two young women were relieved that they were almost home. The plane ride back had seemed three times longer than the time it took them to get in Thailand, even though it was shorter. The exhaustion paid his toll on the two lovers and they helped each other out the plane.

As they walked through the airport with their bags, they were relieved to see some familiar faces. Alice, Dana and Shane stood there waiting for them. They set the bags down and all exchanged hugs and kisses.
Alice: “Guys, you look great. The sun in Thailand really did its job!”
Shane: “It’s good to see you guys again. You seemed to be gone for an eternity.”
Bette: “It was only two weeks.”
Dana: “Still, with Alice around and you not there to shut her down sometimes, it seemed like an eternity. Believe me.”
Alice swatted Dana on the arm before returning her attention to Bette and Tina.
Alice: “So, how was it like?”
Tina: “It was great. The weather, the people, the food… everything was just wonderful.”
Bette: “Heaven.”
The friends walked off to Alice’s car and drove to Bette and Tina’s house.
Shane: “We’ll be going now. You guys must be really tired.”
Bette: “Yeah we are. Thanks Shane.”
Dana: “Are you coming to the Planet tomorrow morning?”
Tina: “We’ll make it. See you later guys.”
Alice: “Bye.”
Bette closed the door and sank down on the couch. Tina joined her and played with her wife’s hair.
Bette: “I’m totally exhausted.”
Tina: “Do you want to go to bed and cuddle?”
A smile rose upon Bette’s face and she lifted herself from the couch.
Bette: “That sounds great T.”
Bette grabbed Tina’s hand and they walked over to the bedroom. Tina softly undressed Bette and herself. They sneaked under the covers and lay next to each other, skin to skin. Tina wrapped her arms round her lover. Bette quickly drifted off to sleep and Tina, who listened to her lover’s soft breathing, followed her not to long afterwards.
