Bette was waiting outside the hotel for Tina to pick her up. She was wearing her black dress and high heals. She had worn little make up since it was a little muggy outside, and some light perfume. She didnt want to overwhelm Tina since this was going to be there first date. Bette was nervous. She didnt really know what to expect from Tina. They really hadnt even talked about what was going on between them. Bette had hoped they would be able to talk tonight. She knew she really liked Tina and she would do anything to be with her. She hoped tonight would be the beginning of a long beautiful romance.

At exactly 6pm Tina pulled up. She was driving a light blue BMW and she had the top down.

“Hi Bette. Hop in”

“Hi Tina. Im really glad we are doing this.”

“Me too.” Bette glanced over at Tina and noticed she had changed from this morning. Tina had on a tight pair of black dress pants and a see through while dress top. She looked stunning.

“So Tina where are we going?”

“Well its a suprise Bette. Here put on this blind fold, and dont peek. It will only be a short drive.” Bette did as she was told and Tina drove off. After a few minutes, Bette had noticed they had gotten closer to the ocean. She was hearing a large crash of waves hitting against something. Tina stopped and parked the car.

“Ok we are here, but dont take the blind fold off yet. We have to walk a ways but im going to guide you.” Tina helped Bette out of the car, and they started walked. Bette could feel a difference of one surface to another. This surface seemed to have some grip on it, and it almost seemed as if they where climbing up. Finally after a few minutes they reached there destinating and Tina took off the blind fold.

Bette looked around and they seemed to be on some type of navy ship. Tina had them on a platform the overlooked the whole ship. There was a string of while lights surrounding a little table set for two. There was two seamen who appeared to be cooks setting up there meals on the table. It was the most romantic dinner Bette had ever been too.

“I hope you dont mind, but i brought you to my ship. This is the USS Peabody. This is the ship I run.”

“Oh Tina this is beautiful. I love it that you brought me here.” Bette was so happy to be with Tina. She would have eaten anything anywhere with Tina if she asked her too.

“Some of the boys owed me a favor since i gave them the night off so i thought this would be the perfect place. And after dinner if you like I can give you a tour.”

“I would love to see your ship Tina.”

After dinner Tina took Bette on a tour. She only shower her the mess hall, the rec area’s and a few of the bunks. She then took her to her private room on the ship.

“This is my private quarters. As you can see it is a little small, but its all mine.”

It was small, only a bed, desk and a bureau for Tina’s uniforms and clothes. On the desk was a picture of Lauren dress in a sailors uniform smiling. Tina motioned for Bette to sit on the bed so they could talk. They where facing each other and Tina held Bette’s hand for a few seconds before she spoke.

“I have to tell you something Bette. Im shipping out in a few weeks, and i wont be back for about 6 months.”

“What. We just met, and your leaving.” Bette was stunned. She coudnt imagine not seeing or talking to Tina for that long. She hadnt even thought out going back to LA and leaving Tina in Hawaii.”

“Im sorry Bette, but this is a trip i’ve allready commited too. I dont want to leave Lauren or you, but there is nothing that can be done about it. I have access to the phone and email, and if you let me i will try to be in touch as much as possible. I dont want to lose you Bette. Meeting you was fate, and i think if we try we can work through this.” Tina was trying to assure Bette they could work through this. Being away from Candace for so long was what tore them apart, and everytime she had to leave Lauren broke her heart, but she always made throught it.

Bette was disapointed, but she knew how important the navy was to Tina, and if this was all Tina was able to give her right now, then this is what she would take.

“Its ok Tina, i understand. If you are willing to do that for me, then i will wait for you to come back. I dont have much time left here on the island, but i would love to spend it with you and Lauren.

“Thank you Bette.” Tina leaned in to kiss Bette on the cheek, but Bette had moved and the kiss ended up on her lips. Bette leaned into the kiss and pulled Tina in with her hands around her face.
It was only a few seconds and then they parted. Both smiled at each other.

“Bette lets get going. I have something else i want to show you.” They left the ship and got back into Tina’s car. She drove away from the ships but still staying close to the ocean. She parked near a small beach they had large rocks facing the ocean. She led Bette out of the car towards the water.

“I hope you dont mind getting wet a little, but this view is great.”

“No, i’ll go anywhere you go.” Tina led Bette out to the rocks and noticed they had large steps going up the rocks, that had been carved in. They climed the steps and where on top of the large rocks. Tina had them sit down, and as they where facing the water, Bette was noticing the sun was setting in the horizen and that the sky was almost red.

“Oh Tina this is beatiful. It looks af if the ocean and the sky are one.” “It is beatiful Bette.”

Bette woke up the next morning in Tina’s bed. She had remembered they had watched the sun set, and then Tina asked her to come home with her. Bette had said yes of course. The way Tina had asked Bette knew what was going to happen. They had arrived at Tina’s house and Lauren was allready tucked in for the night. Tina had led Bette upstairs to her room, shut the door, and had stripped Bette of her dress before Tina had taked anything off herslef. She had layed Bette on the bed, and told her not to move. Tina had undressed herself and climed on the bed, sitting on top of Bette just below her hips. Bette hadnt moved and when Tina climed on top of her, she just soaked in the way Tina looked. She was beautiful. She had soft curves, round full *****, and skin that was as soft as silk. Bette pulled Tina down to kiss her the and rest was magic. The pleasure was neverending as least for the two of them. They made love all night and into the morning. Bette had felt love for Tina the whole night and after they where done Bette had told Tina she loved her. Tina had the same on her mind, and said the same back to Bette.

Tina was still sleeping next to her and Bette decided not to wake her up, but decided she needed to get up to use the bathroom. Luckly Tina had lent her the same pj from the night before so she didnt have to sleep naked. As Bette entered the bathroom she heard a soft know on Tina’s bedroom door.

“Mama! Mama are you awake.”

Then heard Tina speak. “L come in so i can see you. What is is baby?”

“Theres a lady downstairs talking to Lilo. She wants to come in, and Lilo told me to come and get you.”

“What lady L. Who is it?”

“Its her mama. The lady in the pictures.”

“What lady L. Which pictures?”

“The ones in the closet mama. You know that lady you are smiling with in the pictures.”

“L i have lots of pictures. Which lady?”

“The lady that is holding me when im small. The lady you said gave me my name.”

Bette could her the tone in Tina’s voice change. She sounded scared.

“L look at me. Did Lilo let her in?”

“Yes mama. They are talking downstairs.”

“Ok. Ok. Where’s Bette? Did you see Bette.?”

Bette stepped from out of the bathroom. “Im here Tina. Whats wrong. Who is downstairs?”

“Candace! Bette, Candace is here.!”
