    Carmen discovery of feelings for her roommate, Shane and Jenny

    Trisha: Wow! Lucky you

    Missy: I think, hey Chloe is here.

     

     

               Carmen was walking towards Sloan, when she noticed Chloe making her way to her.

    Chloe: hey, Dr. Matthews (kissing Sloan on the lips)

     

               Chloe had her arms wrapped around her waist and her head on Sloan’s shoulder.

         Carmen stopped mid-way just as if a sense of jealousy had taken over her, and then proceeded again.

    Carmen: (looking at Sloan) hey are you doing okay, (crossed her arms) Chloe what are you doing here?

    Sloan: are you doing okay, carm….

    Carmen: well, I see you are busy, but don’t stand to long.

    Sloan: yes, mother.

     

     Chloe: Don’t worry, I am here now. She has me to take care of her.

                Carmen gave Sloan a wink, and walked away. She continued to greet everyone.

    Shane: I got this for you; I thought you might need it.

    Carmen: thanks (sipping her rum and coke)

    Shane: So

    Carmen: So…….. (Pausing)

    Shane: want to go for a walk

    Carmen: No, I have to stay here.

    Shane: okay,

     

                 Shane sat on one of the bar stools…Carmen stood next to her.

    Carmen: Shane, I don’t know what you are looking for, but I m not trying to get into another relationship.

    Shane: I just want to spend time with you.

    Carmen: did you tell jenny, where you were?

    Shane: No (shrugging her shoulders) No I didn’t, but come here (pulling Carmen towards her)

                Carmen was afraid someone was going to notice and sure enough

    Alice: look at the two love birds

    Bette: (shaking her head) Jenny is going to go ballistic if she finds out.

    Tina: Shane just needs to tell her how she feels

    Alice: Who Carmen?

    Tina: No, Jenny

     

     

                 Sloan walked over to where the girls were.

    Sloan: hey

    Everyone: Hey, how are you?

    Alice: I saw on the news what happened? Do they know what happened?

    Sloan: It was some rookie cop trying to play cowboy.

     

                Sloan couldn’t help but notice Shane and Carmen together.

    Sloan: but I am doing okay

    Tasha: man, I would hate to have to go to the bathroom. I hope you use your left hand.

    Sloan: (laughing) actually, I don’t that‘s going to be the fun part. Well, let me go hobble over to the kitchen; feel free to make yourselves comfortable. She hobbled passed Shane and Carmen. Shane was kissing Carmen, and biting her lip.
