Shane: she is gone this time; I’m trying to work things out with Molly.

Tina: I think you are confused, Shane

Shane: I love them both, but I had to make a choice and Carmen wasn’t happy, I couldn’t make her happy. I didn’t know how.

Alice: So, where are you living now?

Shane let out a long sigh while she ran her finger over the picture, “with Molly”.

   Shane threw her back on the couch; “I don’t know, Molly is different, she doesn’t want me to change”.

Tina: don’t be so sure of that Shane

Chapter XXX

         Carmen was at her desk dreading for Sunday to come around. She hated the fact that Sloan had to leave on a flight that was exactly 9hr 28 min from LAX to JFK airport. She rested her palm of her hand against her forehead. “Two weeks”, she thought. “I have to keep myself busy for Two weeks”, this is going to be hard she said to herself knowing Shane was around. She finished typing her memos. She was done for the day.

     Back at Molly and Shane’s, Shane was laying one the couch. She had a massive headache. Molly was in the kitchen getting aspirin for Shane. With her arm covering her eyes Shane just layed their, not wanting to move. Molly was walking to the living room.

“Here is your aspirin Shane”

 “Thanks Carmen”

 “Carmen” Molly said

“What’? Shane said quickly removing her arm from her face

 “You just called me Carmen, Shane”.

 “No, I didn’t. I said thanks Molly”.

    Molly didn’t know how to respond, she stood there wanting to yell, but she couldn’t. She let it go and proceeded back to the kitchen. Shane just rested her head back on the couch, closing her eyes falling into a deep sleep.

   Alice and Helena went to the gym. Helena thought it would be a good way for Alice to cope with everything she has been through in the last couple of days. Helena couldn’t see Alice upset.

  When Alice and Helena where done with there workout they both hit the showers. The locker room had showers that where wide open, no curtains, no walls to block views. Everything was open and you had full frontal view of everyone.

   Alice had walk into the shower followed in by Helena. There was only one more person in the shower at the time they had entered.

Alice: wow, I can’t believe they have showers like this still

Helena: it’s only a shower. We still have them in Europe

Alice: but I thought every gym had gone to a more “private” showers.

   Alice noticed someone two shower heads down, toned body, dark skin, long hair and a nice ass with two dimples on the small of the back and a tattoo that rested over her thigh. Alice couldn’t take her eyes of this person. She peeked every time she could. Helena noticed the distraction

“Alice what are you doing”

“What? I can look, besides I thought it was Shane at first”

“Well, I don’t think you will look at Shane that way if you saw her”

 “Who ever it is she has a nice ass and a great body”

“What about Tasha”

“Oh, Helena, she grins. It’s only looking. It would be different if I….”

        At that moment the person in the shower turned around.

“Oh, my god!” That’s Sloan Holy shit” Tina wasn’t kidding about the body

“Tina saw her naked”

“No, I mean we were talking about how she had a nice body” Alice couldn’t take her eyes off of her

“Alice snap out of it”. Helena snapped her fingers.

“Oh, what I wouldn’t do to her if I wasn’t with Tasha”

“Alice do you have a crush on Sloan” Helena asked with concern

“There’s something about her that makes me wonder, but I am not trying to mess anything up with Tasha”

“You’re sick, you know that”

“It is only looking Helena”. Alice said smiling
