Chapter 131

Tina and Bette sat at the kitchen table having breakfast. Taylor and Dylan were on the table in their baby seats. They were both sound asleep.

“Hey T…will you look at those precious little faces? My God are we lucky to have these two beautiful babies.”

“Yeah…they are damn cute aren’t they Babe?” Tina leaned over and kissed Bette gently on the cheek. “We are very lucky to have them…and each other….and those beautiful little babies that are growing inside you.” Tina placed her hand on Bette’s protruding abdomen. “I can’t wait until these two are with us.”

“Don’t take this the wrong way T…but I can wait….I’m not ready for them quite yet. I’m glad I have some time to prepare. You know I am going to be a beast during labor and delivery…right?”

“You can’t possibly be any worse than I was Babe….I had some moments I’m less than proud of.”

“Tina…I am so proud of you for going through all of that for us…for our family. I love you Sweetie…” Bette kissed Tina on the lips.

“Bette?”

“Yes?”

“That was the most tender kiss you’ve ever given me…thank you.”

Bette leaned into Tina and smiled as she rubbed her nose back and forth against hers.

“Oh God Baby…I love it when you do that….” Tina smiled.

“It must be some recessive Eskimo gene or something.”

“You think?” Tina kissed Bette gently.

“Yeah….” Bette kissed Tina back. “I think!”

“Yeah…I think so too…” Tina kissed Bette again. “I love you Bette…you know that right?”

“Never doubted it for a single minute Tina…”

Tina kissed Bette again.

“Tina…you know…if you keep kissing me…we’re going to end up back in the bedroom.”

“And…what exactly would be wrong with that?” Tina winked at Bette.

“You’re too cute T….too cute.”

“Speaking of cute Babe….Taylor’s waking up….look at her…look at that yawn!”

“Biiiiiigggggg yawwwwn!” Bette smiled at Taylor. Taylor smiled back. “It kills me when she does that. I swear to God…that’s the Kennard smile. You have the same smile and so does your mom.”

“Oh…don’t even go there Babe!”

“Where?”

“The subject of my mother.”

“Tina…come on…consenting adults…remember?”

“Yeah…but come on – Amanda is married…and happily I thought.”

“Tina…it’s between them. I’m staying out of it.”

“I just think it’s a little…I don’t know….in bad taste.”

“Tina…it’s not your place to judge them.”

“And my mom is straight!”

“Maybe not T. You were straight until you met me.” Bette winked at Tina.

“Good point Babe.”

“Would it upset you if your mom was a ***** or bi?”

“I don’t know…I honestly don’t know….” Tina was deep in thought. “So you think I should drop this huh?”

“Tina…I won’t tell you what to do…but…you have no control over the situation…it’s your mom’s life…Amanda’s life. You and I have enough going on…we don’t need to worry about who your mother is having ***** with.”

“Hmmmmm….yeah…but it still upsets me.”

“Can you get past it? Your mom deserves some fun T. Let’s not get in the way of that….she’s been through a lot. Give her a break…..and as for Amanda….it’s her deal…not ours.”

Just then Jackie and Amanda entered the kitchen.

Bette looked at them and smiled. “And look what the cat dragged in…you two look like road kill!”

Jackie looked at Bette and smiled. “Gee thanks Sunshine – I wish I could return the compliment…but …as usual….you have that natural beauty on your side….you always look good.”

“Well…I don’t think that’s necessarily true mom.”

“Oh yes it is Baby. Right Amanda?” Tina smiled at Amanda.

“Ummm…ahhhh…yeah…Bette is beautiful….Tina ..are you sure you don’t have to rip us new ***** or something? I mean you were so upset before…and now….”

“It’s none of my business….I’m staying out of it Amanda. Ummmm…mom?”

“Yes Tina?”

“Can you and I talk later?”

“Sure…” Jackie was puzzled by Tina’s sudden change of heart.

Tina turned to Amanda and then looked at Jackie again. “Let me get you two coffee and something to eat. Please…have a seat.”

Tina wandered over to the kitchen counter and began preparing coffee and breakfast for them. Bette wandered over to where Tina stood. She wrapped her arms around her from behind. She buried her face in Tina’s hair and whispered in to her ear. “Im very proud of you T….God I love you…….” Bette kissed Tina’s neck and then whispered. “I want you Sweetie…right now.”

Tina smiled as Bette twirled her around so they were facing each other. Bette kissed her…she ran her tongue over Tina’s lips and then stuck her tongue into Tina’s waiting mouth. When the kiss ended they were both breathless.

Bette whispered again. “I want you…now Tina.”

“Let me finish getting breakfast for them and then maybe mom will watch the babies for a little while for us.”

“Ok….I’ll be waiting.


Okcoffee and toast for the resident road kill! Tina placed breakfast in front of Amanda and Jackie.
