    a Bette and Tina begining with a few differences. (Think Jilly Cooper meets the L word.) please give it a read and let me know.

    How the fuck does she pull it off? I know for a fact that she spent the best part of the morning rolling round in the hay with one of the yard girls. And she was still at the party in Martys trailer when I left at gone two and she has just won the grand prix and done a double clear in the nations cup without so much as breaking a sweat.

     

    I looked over at my friend come groom come family as she ranted about the beauty now exiting the competition ring on an equally stunning grey horse before hopping out of the saddle and passing the reigns over to one of her three travelling grooms.

     

    Come on Al lets get ready the novice competition will start after the presentation and I want a good warm up before I have to walk the course. You can work Ghost and Ill take Apache.

     

    With that I sighed and made my way to tack up and exercise my own horse as the stars of the show jumping world began to leave the grounds for the day leaving their grooms to clean up for them.

     

    I knew that with just a bit more luck and hard work I could break through, finally be top flight just a few more months and I was sure I would be there so long as I could do enough to keep my small yard afloat in the mean time.

     

    As I pulled my tired body up and into the saddle I felt the stress of the world slip away, this was what I was born to do. I had already achieved so much coming from nothing and now I was on the very edge waiting to become a name in a rich mans world.

     

    I smiled down into the loving crystal blue eyes of Cooper my boyfriend before setting of to warm up the talented young horse I had rescued from a farmyard two years ago and felt confident once again in my abilities. Yes, I Bette Porter would make it.

     

     

    Meanwhile;

     

    Tina Kennard relaxed as she let the warm water sooth her aching body. She gazed around with a smug grin on her beautiful face she had had an amazing day. She was nowhere near as hung over as she deserved to be when she had woken up in one of the stables this morning. Then she had given a first class performance seducing the young yard girl so she could have an hour of relaxing shagging in the barn before blowing the competition out of the water in the grand prix and helping the American team to take another win in the nations cup series, which was a task as they were seriously in need of some new talent in both horses and riders. Apart from her the team had grown old, stale and complacent.  And to top it all of she could now spend the night ordering room service and relaxing in this beautiful five star hotel room.
