Alice opened the door to a slightly nervous Shane who was shifting her weight from one foot to the other.

“Errm hi. Dana said to come on round.”

Dana walked out of the bedroom, took on look at Shane and burst out laughing.

“Shane you look so funny. I don’t think I’ve ever seen you look so nervous.”

“Fuck you Fairbanks.”

Alice moved back from the door to let the new comer into her home.

“Its fine Shane, ignore Dana she’s being an arse.”

Shane walked into the apartment and suddenly thrust a bottle of Tequila and a six pack of beer in Alice’s general direction.

“I thought that if I brought gifts it would break the ice a bit.”

Alice’s face light up into a brilliant smile, she turned to face Dana.

“See, Shane knows how to make herself welcome, where was your gift?”

“I just thought my wonderful self would be enough.”

“It was, but now you’ve been upstaged. You’re really gonna have to work hard to make yourself favorite again.”

With that the three women made their way to the living room.

Shane and Alice got on like a house on fire; it was as if they had been friends for years. Shane was telling Alice lots of stories about Dana, some of them embarrassing, all of them amusing.

“So there was Dana, drunk of her tits, doing what can only be described as ‘the Dana dance’. Then the next thing I knew, she had her head over the side throwing everything back up.”

Alice was in fits of laughter and Dana loved seeing her so happy, even though it was at her expense.

“Ooh and when she came out to her parents was hilarious. Her mother was getting some award at this fancy country club, so Dana shows up all dyked out with me in tow and just in front of the fruit salad turns to her mum and goes ‘mum dad I’m gay’. Her mother didn’t even hear her and was all, ‘that’s nice dear, now have you met James?’ So Dana tries again with the whole ‘I’m gay’ stuff and her mum just gave her a look and said, ‘now don’t be silly Dana, you’re only young so there’s no way you could have any of those unnatural urges’. Then the next thing I knew was that Dana’s hands were at the side of my head and her tongue was in my mouth. Seriously, we were making out in front of everyone at this big shirt and tie event, then Dana pushes me away turns to her mother and goes, ‘convinced you yet, or do you want another show?’ I don’t think they spoke to her for a month after that.”
