Part 26
The trip to Brazil was just what Helena needed to take her away from the stress of running the restaurant and the pain of another failed connection with Dylan. She was enjoying the reunion with her children and getting to know the less glam side of Raquel. She was beginning to appreciate what she felt was the sexiest part of Raquel, her barefooted, in torn shorts that showed just a little hint of her beautiful ass and in a bra-less in a t-shirt tied in her back that enhanced her perky breasts and frequently on headlights. Whenever Raquel wore this little outfit, it was instant arousal for Helena who with a simple look to Raquel indicated that she was ready for some time alone. Raquel showered her with attention and at times for Helena almost felt smothering.
They started their trip exploring the beaches and scenes around Rio de Janiero. Raquel showed Helena the not so glamorous parts of her childhood. From there they moved in to a boat tour on the Amazon River. Helena felt like a child again as she ran down the rip cord through the rain forrest. She landed into the waiting arms of Raquel, who despite the staring eyes of the guides, kissed her deeply. She was the unofficial queen of Brazil and they dared not speak of any of her activities outside of their small circle. Raquel never hid her sexuality but officially she was stated to be bisexual. It had been years since she had been with a man and there was no man on the near horizon. The bisexual tag just added to her allure for the horny men who followed her career and bought the magazines she appeared in just to see her. Women admired her sensuality and questioned their own sexuality as their looked at her photos and on screen persona.
After the trip through the Amazon they relaxed in Raquel’s mansion nestled in the mountains overlooking the beaches of Ipanema. Once home Raquel spent some time getting to know her future brother-in-law. He was a well meaning young man but had tons of pipe dreams. She let it be clear to Isabel and Antonio that while was looking forward to her new niece or nephew, they should not look to her for financial support. She said that to them but privately she confessed to Helena she knew she would probably spoil the baby rotten. She admitted that soon after her modeling career began she found herself pregnant. The father of the baby was a married photographer who stopped returning her calls when she told him about it. He simply sent her an envelope with money in it. Her agent found her someone to do the abortion. She hardly thought of it but she had dreams it was a boy and every so often she found herself looking at little boys who would be the age of her baby had she not aborted. She would find herself wondering, ‘what if’. She was disappointed about her sister’s pregnancy but appreciated at least that the father of the baby was sticking by her. “Maybe I’ll get him a job.” She decided as she considered everything at stake.

And it had been such a pleasant time up until then. Will Raquel’s whole family sit and watch the revelation with Helena or will somebody (anybody!) be gracious enough to let her watch it in private? This could get sticky. Hell, it’s already sticky.
Squirl you do flatter me with your shout outs. Of course I do not think you hate her, your true colors were out a long time ago, not even in this story, Heheeheh, you can’t fool an old reader. I never got the impression Helena loved pretty Raqus anyway, just that they have a good time together and are very compadible. I’m sure she has feelings for her but that love thing runs deep and Helena is starting to acknowledge to her self she really dose love Dylan. We all knew it too. Know what esle I knew? That the copy of the doc. Helena was givin by Dylan has a special message in it, I think you wrote it a few chapters ago, at least you hinted at it. I think everyone knows that Helena is not staying in Rio and that Raquel is, everyone being Raquel’s family and they don’t expect anything more than just a visit. (with bennifits)Now I can’t wait for the sex talk Helena has to have with her children, this is going to be a riot, also can’t wait to see what that message is and what Helena is going to do about it and weather or not your going to make me bust out the tissues.About the hate issue your having with Helena, I think your jealous and are punishing her but thats just me. Checking in and catchin’ up…Just go ahead and drag my heart through the mud. Dylan calls and then she hangs up in the last chappie and now Helena realizes that she’s let the love of her life walk away. Geez… it’s painful to watch these two try to figure this all out. I actually feel for Racquel in this chapter — God how is that possible? I’m keeping my fingers crossed that one of these two actually stays on the phone long enough to have a conversation…Shssh You’re killing me Squirl!
Cool! Lots of back story on Raquel and her family. We know more about her than we do Tina! lol! Does that mean she’s staying around for a while? It would be nice if Helena could have a private moment to digest Dylan’s message…and hmmm Raquel could be classy enough to give her that…Boy, Dylan is truly under Helena’s skin…this is a hard one, but I’m happy she is being honest with Raquel. PPS
What will Dylan have to say to Helena? She is being very public abou it. Rachael really has a trouble family and lif. Helena desn’t need a lot of that,se has her own reoblems. Love Dylan thanks
