“T, I was thinking about things a bit more immediate. Before you have me pregnant, I think you should make an honest woman of me.”
Bette took Tina’s left hand and slipped a diamond encrusted eternity band on her ring finger. Bette looked into Tina’s eyes brimming with unshed tears.
“Tina, marry me?”
Epilogue Part 2
Tina sat in stunned silence as she looked at the sparkle that now adorned her hand.
“Tina, will you do me the honor of becoming my wife again?”
Tina made eye contact again with Bette. She placed her hands Bette’s face and kissed her softly. The kiss slowly escalated and each became lost in the passion of the kiss as they tasted the salt from the tears falling from Tina’s eyes. Bette pulled back breathless. She smiled at the gorgeous blond on her lap and wiped the tears on Tina’s face with her thumbs.
“T, I’m going to assume from that kiss that those are happy tears and your answer is yes?”
“Oh Bette, these are definitely happy tears, and I would be honored to be your wife.”
Tina stood from the lounger and reached for Bette’s hand, helping her to her feet. She picked up the glass of scotch and drained it, and turned to Bette. Tina walked backward toward the French doors that lead to the bedroom guiding Bette along with her. Tonight, Tina planned to show Bette again how much she loved her. As Tina crossed the threshold into the bedroom, she heard Bette chuckle. As they made their way to the bed, she turned and saw a smirk on Bette’s face.
“See something you like?”
“I see someone I love who has an absolutely gorgeous ass and I fall in love with a bit more every day.”
Bette pulled Tina into her arms and ran her hands along her back and rested them on Tina’s ass.
“And, she has given me the honor of agreeing to be my wife.”
They continued to walk toward the bed as they kissed passionately only breaking the kisses to discard clothes along the way. They climbed onto the bed positioning themselves next to one another. Tina kissed her way along Bette’s jaw and down her neck.

I just got caught up with the last couple of chapters of this story. I know from our conversation that you have had a tough couple of weeks and I do know from experieince what you are dealing with in losing your friend. Continue to watch those sunrises and sunsets…yeah, you know what I’m talking about!! Hope you find some time to continue on with this story. I’ve really enjoyed your writing.
