Ranch Ch 12
Ch 12
Tina: Sania where did you get this beautiful necklace from?
Sania was embarrassed and hid her face. She didn’t know what to say. She turned her face and looked at Dodger. She saw that his face turned yellow and that he was looking really ill. Again she was puzzled by his reaction. What’s going on with him? She thought to herself. dodger wasn’t wearing his mask now as he felt very hot a flustered and he couldn’t careless anymore.
Sania: Tina I am sorry I didn’t tell you everything about me? I just didn’t think it was relevant back then. Well it’s not the right time to tell now either. I will tell you when you get back to the ranch. But……
But Dodger wanted to know, and he wanted to know right now. By God he did. The evidences were overwhelming him. He wanted to know so badly what he’d already knew. He wanted to hear it in his own ears. This necklace was one of a kind. He knew that because he had it made especially for the woman he loved years ago, and because he owned the other half of it. This was getting out of hand. Out of his hands and he felt weak and very cold. He wanted to leave. He didn’t want to be there. He wanted to be away far, far away from there. He wanted to be alone to think, but what was he going to do? How is he going to get rid of Tina when he allows Sania to go?
Tina saw how awkward the situation was and she didn’t want to press Sania.
Tina: Ok Sania. That’s ok; you could tell me when I see you again. You don’t have to answer me now.
Sania: Well….it was given to me by my real mother. That’s all I know.
Tina: What do you mean real mother? You mean the Carpenters weren’t your real family?
Sania: No Tina they aren’t my biological family, they….
Tina: I am sorry baby, I had no idea you were adopted.
Sania: That’s ok Tina, you didn’t know. No one knows only my adopted family and my social worker, of course. Well I don’t really want to talk about it now. I will tell you everything later. Please promise you will be back.
