    The first JLBT-post in 2007 LOL A banter over money, and shooting stars… A Bette and Tina love story, based on ‘Pretty woman’

     

    What was it about this ravishing blonde that touched places of her soul she hadn’t been in touch with for years? That made her heart rage and her mind race?

    Bette’s voice sounded hoarse as she stated:

     

    Ok, here we go…

     

    She glanced into perfect hazel eyes with a mischievious twinkle in them, and at once the confident brunette decided to play along with this, continueing with:

     

    How much are you asking?

    The wink Tina received from Bette made goosebumps appear on her arms and body, her heart pounding so rapidly against her chest, she was sure the brunette would be able to hear it. What ever could be Bette’s reason  to ask her to stay the week? Could it have something to do with that hint of longing the compassionate blonde kept seeing in those perfect chocolatbrown eyes? That silent begging to be held, to be wanted, to be loved, forever?

     

    Whooo, where did that come from??? The young mother inhaled sharply, feeling her body slide back in the shield she had built so many years ago. A shield that had always been comfortable, but now seemed to have rough edges. She needed to think about the purpose of her job, for thats what it was, a job, nothing more… Her eyes closed she saw the image of her boy with his golden laugh and his blinking eyes, and felt her heart swell with love for him… She needed the money…

     

    Focussing on that, Tina opened her eyes, feeling the shiver of her heart calm. Carefully avoiding to look in those warm brown eyes before her, the young mother at once realized the money was more of an excuse to stay then the reason…

     

    6000 dollars

     

    The blonde blinked her eyes in surprise of the certainty in her own voice… Had she really just said that? But at once, she felt overwhelmth by a warm feeling of confidence, and she looked up to see Bette’s ashtonished face…

     

    Then, a smile broke through, dawning like a day after the deepest black night, and Tina felt overwhelmed by the wrenching lovely feeling in the pit of her stomach… And she suddenly realized the importance of the question… If she had started too low, she had seemed to eager and that would show she didnt find herself worthy…

Falling in love before they even kissed, girl I want that kiss so desperate…could you please post very soon huh. Dit is toch wel echt één van de beste dingen die ik tot nu toe gelezen heb hoor, ik zeg dit niet om te slijmen zo ben ik helemaal niet.     27. (Singing on the Eurythmics melody)… Here comes the tease again… Yeah, as if I’m gonna buy that they’re about to share that kiss… Yeah, right! Hey, I know your style ya know! LOL… But that’s also why I love it! Okay, so, you know what I love about this story as well (amongst thousands other things)? It’s that in a way we get to know what could have gone through Edward and Vivian’s heads during those first moments together. I mean, of course their feelings wouldn’t even come close to what’s happening between our B&T (that goes without saying… Duh!), but still, it’s kind of nice to have an introspective version of this movie… See what I mean? Anyway, still love this, and everytime I read a new chapter, i feel that you’re giving a whole new and magical dimension to this story, and in a way, it’s a wonderful present that you’re giving to B&T… and to us! Thanks! ;)
